Enkidu's original form is the noble phantasm, his lancer self is heroic spirit, and divine spirit as stated by Strange Fake would be berserker. EMIYA isn't a heroic spirit at all though, he's a counter guardian and he was summoned as a servant, not a heroic spirit. At the point he was summoned, the grail had been corrupted so more than just heroic spirits could be summoned (thanks Angra). Which is why he could be summoned as a servant. Enkidu is an actual heroic spirit though, him also being a Noble Phantasm doesn't change that.

He doesn't create a whole new thing which belongs to him - in fact, "those hands will never hold anything" (Gilgamesh, on the other hand, doesn't try to create something that already exists, only gathers those things and all the things he gathered do belong to him). That "something" ascends to Gilgamesh's Treasury too in most cases. Moreover. when he only projects items from GoB he wouldn't be able to use them far more effectively than Gilgamesh himself because those items have yet no history of being wielded by heroes who mastered and brought them beyond the limits. So there are no skills and abilities of their wielder as a part of the history of a weapon to copy. EMIYA might still have the Eye of Mind but it wouldn't give him much advantage against Gilgamesh's Sha Nagba Imuru. Gilgamesh: Rule Breaker! Medea: but that's my thing! He still has the same memories as caster gil though, just a different mindset. Archer Gil is that rebellious -a-hole- teen phase who refuses to put in effort, but also refuses to admit he has a problem. He wants to have fun more than accept his responsibilities. Caster Gilgamesh is when he matures and becomes more level-headed with age and experience. He learns the benefits of hard work, but sometimes takes it too far.

Just a simple reformulation. The difference between archer Gilgamesh and caster are that they are the same person but not from the same point of time. You see the Caster is from after Enkidu's death while the archer gil is before his best buds death. The throne of heroes (realm from which you summon the servants) carry not the heroes themself but the legend they created. Now there are 2 legends about Gilgamesh, the wise king who couldnt find immortality (caster) and the arrogant undefeated archer who hasn't seen the death of his friend YET. So both of them are summoned as the same person but not from the same specific time. It's the same for another servant which you'll learn of during the anime who has been summoned at his/her younger state. I just wanna let that out since people can still be confused ^^

It seems to me that caster Gil would fit perfectly in the role of the ruler class if there was ever another great holy grail war.. To make him different they could have him be the perfect balance between his archer and caster versions, the power of the former with the mentality of the latter. It could be explained that it is Gilgamesh after he returned from his journey but before he gave his treasures away. I like to think that with his castor mentality he might actually sometimes use some noble phantasms like they are supposed to be used instead of just throwing them all the time.

Archer Gil has the same memory as the caster Gil, and he is from after his death. What you see in fate Go is Gil himself so he is not caster class but use magic for the efficiency of it, but in other series he is a servant and the fact that he seems arrogant, is mainly because he had lived the life he wanted and he just want to have some fun.

Great video! I honestly didn't expect much from this(expected a bad remake), but strangely enough it was very enjoyable. As someone who is very invested in his character(I have all of his versions in FGO, I played through Babylonia, watched your earlier videos, read the wiki, watched extra cutscenes, read the Epic of Gilgamesh(some of it at least)), I still found it highly entertaining and learn 1 or 2 new things. I would like to add a few things to what you said. The Bull of Heaven in Fate is actually Ishtar's divine beast not her father's as she is the Queen of Heaven and the strongest deity of her pantheon. It has been stated by Merlin and Da Vinci that the concentration of mana if the Age of the Gods is far higher than in the modern era which enabled Gil to summon his servants. Also just summoning one servant nearly killed him but he didn't care and kept summoning until he had 8 but since he can't support the existence of so many servants by himself he gave them physical bodies so they would inhabit them and not suck up his mana. Again Gil never defeated Enkidu in the Fate-verse, they fought to a stalemate which is why its pretty fun to see them fight again in Fate Strange Fake so we would know who would actually win.

Actually caster Gil and archer Gil are basically the same. Archer Gil, at that moment of time, chose to act the way he did because he thought that was best for humanity. In fate/extra for example, we have an archer Gil that is way more chill and basically the same as caster GIl. His "mood" lets say is influenced by the circumstances Gil is being faced with.

@@bluemoon9683 ye no arrogance at all, fully aware of the singularities, fully aware of why the protag needs the grail, still refuses to give it away because they need his good will for it. in the HGW he simply doesnt want peasents to touch his treasure, in grand order he literally delays the saving of the world because he doesnt consider the only possible saviours worthy of his treasure. if thats not arrogance i dont know what is. also, clairvoyance and a wise mind dont help you shit if your master is incompetent, those are only helpfull when he is in control (except CV of cause, that shit may help in battle, however he still needs time to react, so it doesnt make him unbeatable). also, he also had his wise mind etc after he died in grand order and came back as a servant, so guess what, him being extremely pissed off and hot headed isnt because he is a servant, but more because of the situation he is confronted with in fuyuki. instead of a world where everyone follows and serves him and where he expected humans to grow even closer to percetion, a few thousand years later he sees a humanity that has gone further away from what he hoped it would evolve into and not only that, multiple peasants want his sacred treasure without his allowance yet alone without deserving any of his good will. none of that would change, it is literally the same person just in a different situation....

In Fate world, they are reduced to unreasonable selfish being to elevate Gilgamesh role to humanity. And many many more cringy wanking which turn the character into a pile of garbage. For example, did you know that Gilgamesh protect and guide humanity by...making them suffer? Enslaving the men, raping the women, robbing their treasure... It's simply disgusting.

The 4 who died before the arrival of chaldea: _Tomoe Gozen (archer). _Amakusa Shiro (the priest of fate apocrypha although is not clear if he was summoned in Ruler class here) _Fumma Kotaro (Assassin) _Ibaraki Douji (Berserker) About what they did: _Tomoe Gozen sacrificed herself to defeat Girtablilu, an intelligent son of Tiamat, this gave the demonic front time to improve its defenses. If not for her uruk would have fallen then. _Amakusa Shiro and Fumma Kotaro went to investigate the southern jungle, they were brutally defeated by jaguarman, they had no chance against her in her divine territory. _Ibaraki simply escaped to the mountains after Tomoe's death, later is discovered that she went to help Tomoe's soul to rest in peace. Apparently Tomoe became a ghost after dying and since they both had Oni blood, Ibaraki felt sympathy for her.
