Whether you agree with Rees Mogg or not (and I don't), I respect him as a man of principle, conviction and integrity. He's completely un-spun, he gives straight, detailed answers to questions and doesn't mince his words. Compare him to Diane Abbott for example. The issue I'd take with the film is the suggestion that he's not a "proper" conservative. On the contrary, he is a proper conservative, it's the Blairites like Anna Soubry who are not true conservatives. Peter Hitchens is correct - the Blairites of Labour and Conservative should form their own, new party. I wonder who should lead it?

Patrick I think that on the terms of marriage, the government should not have much of any hand in it, other that enforcing no child brides/grooms (which it does poorly at the moment) and no polygamy (which again it fails). That is more than likely the common ground between gay marriage and traditional marriage be on the same page. Whilst Abortion I must agree with Jacob on the fact it is the greatest tragedy of the modern world. Either way I do like his stance on being honest to the voters about who he is and letting them decide.
