I personally really enjoyed it. At first I was scared because of the PTSD I got from The Eternals when they showed Tenochtitlan and it was just bad/cliché and didn't looked remotely like the city. But in Wakanda Forever, references from all over Mesomerica can be seen, from designs, inspirations from murals, items used throughout the film (such as the conch used as a paint palette by Namor when he's painting a mural) to clothes, the language with the people of Talokan speaking actual Yucatec Maya which was a big surprise and so much more. Overall it was a really pleasant movie that introduced Mesoamerica the right way to mainstream media, and like you said it is great to see it more and more represented in in any form of media and can't wait to see a possible sequel to Wakanda Forever focusing on Talokan^^

Loved the movie personally i believe that The new Black Panther Wakanda forever is the most beautiful movie that represents different cultures it's the number 1 best culture movie of all time.

As someone who is of mayan indian decent the actress lupita did an amazing job with her role as well marvel did a fanatics job representing Merida Yucatan and our mayan culture and although I never got to see wakanda forver in theaters once I did watch it I was amazed and it also brings out so many interesting factors about kukaltan

Yeah that was the strange part about the movie. I feel like the writers tried to make Namor look a little too Evil and murderous, although besides that It was still a really good movie

This character and The feather serpent are one of the same and are also given four other names in different timelines and in different South American cultures I've done a lot of research on this and I've got to say marvel comics should have left this one alone this is how you know history is being manipulated through movies, even after Spaniards and Europeans conquered a good amount of South America they're making movies making South Americans look like just Europeans with a tan and I'm not kidding lol to each his own right, do your research have fun with your life if you want to take it serious you'll see everything I said is true

You’ve done a lot of research but keep mentioning South America. The Mayan civilization was part of North America or Mesoamerican if you will. Looks like you’re misinformed. And if you’re mentioning color I would bet you want to say they were black and or African. Stop trying to appropriate a culture that has nothing to do with you.
