I think The god of fear and hunger’s and Logic’s methods to achieve roughly the same goal are polar opposites. The little girl likely learned that struggles will bring people together, even if their goals aren’t the same, so she made sure humanity struggles for a brighter future. Logic wants to take on the burden of progress, being the peak of what humanity could achieve by becoming the host of a hivemind, share it with everyone taking away their pain, but individuality too. Logic’s true opposite is Vinushka, he is nature, and creating Logic is likely the greatest blasphemy one could commit againt him since she attempts to exist outside the natural cycle and drag humanity with her. The god of FH is more about coexisting with nature and tough love

Here is my theory about the Telectroscopes: instead of having to do with televisions, it's a "scope" the same way we have microscopes/telescopes. It's a tool being used to view and measure things. The telectro part is a combination of telecommunications and electronic or electrons. So they are devices used to view and read transmitted electric signals. Basically they scan, read, and catalog any transmitted human interaction like broadcasts, phonecalls, radio signals etc. This is how Logic is able to access such a vast database of knowledge even outside of all the humans that were used to create her, she is constantly able to view every communicated thought any human broadcasts so she has knowledge of everything that ever becomes public knowledge.

8:50 Were you thinking of the movie Metropolis (2001) in which an android girl - meant to be a perfect version of a human but also as a superweapon - sits atop a throne and has half her face melt off to reveal the mechanical innards? The movie is a tribute to the Astro Boy creator, Osamu Tezuka, and combines the premise of Astro Boy with an old stageplay film from 1927 also by the name of Metropolis with a similar premise.

Holy.. the reason Logic's visions fade to static is because she is utilizing some form of analog broadcasting. The difference is that because she is flesh and machine, the broadcast temporarily manipulates reality instead of being strictly contained to the virtual world. Hence the static when the visions end.

There is a scene in The Alien movie Covenant were they find the OG lady from Movie Prometheus all dissected and also preserved in a mummy like fashion and it reminds me of how the Inner Lady in the God of Logic looks.

I believe that humanity in Fear and Hunger is being seriously screwed by some higher power, since it isn't a case that the God of Fear and Hunger's birth leads directly into the creation of Logic. As if something is driving humanity to create these ascended gods for some purpose or another.

I agree. Humanity may think that they are breaking free from the oppression of the old gods but in reality Alllmer, Fear and Hunger, and now Logic have all only been able to come into power thanks to the old gods. They may have had progressively less direct influence on each ascension but they also have done even less to prevent any of the ascensions. Even Rher who is supposed to hate humanity isn't doing anything to stop humans from siphoning the magic of Termina to help them make Logic. If they wanted to stop us they could be making things much more difficult for us.

The imagery of the woman with her hair wired into a machine reminds me of 2 things. First was a memory I have from an early episode of the newest Dr Who series, I've been looking through episode synopsis but no luck. Damn sure I remember a similiar image that matches Rehlia though, and a plotline of ai and cyber integration. The other is a bit broader but it's Shodan from Systemshock, which is of course a darker narrative but echoes integration a lot more. The works of H R Giger also spring to mind. That Dr Who memories pissing me off to be honest. 😂

Pop culture reference? Idk if this counts as pop, but culturally it screamed Lady Liberty to me. The spiked hair, the giant size, and the freedom that Logic, like God of Fear and Hunger was meant to bring or symbolize for humanity. Maybe the machine parts on Logic are somewhat of a parallel for the torch "technology" that Lady Liberty holds, both of which symbolize progress (Logic also has this light emanating from her). I'm sure there's probably more connections if Lady Liberty did actually inspire the design behind Logic, but I also feel it's more than likely Orange came to this design independently. Bonus, Logic is also a literal Frankenstein of man and machine.
