Defence and security analyst Michael Clarke looks at the political career of Slovakia's prime minster Robert Fico who has been shot multiple times in a suspected assassination attempt.
The 59-year-old has previously been compared to former US president Donald Trump. His election victory meant NATO also had its first leader who was sympathetic to Russia's Vladimir Putin.
