You had perfect timing. I was debating on which GSSR I should pull. I wanted Caster Skadi but the amount of risks I had to take made me think twice. So I considered the Archer GSSR as another. I needed an AoE Buster Archer after all

Easy. Gilgamesh when it comes to damage, Telsa when it comes to utilities slightly lower damage than Gilgamesh. Robot guy because hes a roboy guy. Lower damage than both Tesla and Gil

I have to rate GIl significantly lower because of his 30% Battery. It means that A) even with Append You can't run him with a 30% event ce x2 Koyan Oberon the way any 50% Battery+Append can, and B) You are committed to Oberon for looping instead of having the option of Atlas so that you can have more freedom of choice for the back line (cheaper servants to hold more CEs, slotting in servants you want bond points on instead, etc). Ishtar is dragged down by a lot of problems, but once x2 Koyan Oberon gets involved, how many times is Gil's higher damage actually the difference in winning him a node that Ishtar can't? Meanwhile she has the 50% battery flexibility.

If it were for the supports Atalanta or Helena summer would be good characters, it's not just about looping and that's it, it is about everything that a character offers you in usefulness. If everything were just how good it loops, everything that is not arjuna or ibuki is nonsense

You are right about there being other things that matter, such as high-difficulty content that makes 3-turn buster looping not be enough. I wasn't trying to list every single thing I felt made Gil deserve a much lower place on the list but just give examples of common scenarios where it is mechanically true that a lower Archer on ZTL's list can do something that Gil cannot, and my belief that those scenarios are more common than 'enemy that Gil NP can kill that Ishtar's cannot'. I also feel Gil is worse in an 'average' CQ than most of the Archers below him in ZTL's list, but that's a much fuzzier comparison so I didn't focus on it. The reason the high-end supports always come into the argument is because they create the starkest differences in what servants can mathematically do. A hypothetical 28% battery vs a 30% balloons into a world of difference with buster looping while mattering almost never when face-carding.

I don't like how invested gil has to be compared to Ishtar to achieve the same results. Gil has to have his battery and append at max, and his charisma is his only damage buff, but Ishtar only needs the battery at max, her third skill can be 6/10 and still can use it twice with double koyan. Although I am partial to my np4 summer Jeanne if I can loop instead.

gilgamesh is first year servant. look at altria excalibur, dmg wise is meh, in the lore excalibur wielding can defeat sefar, ..also, look at shishou, in the lore she cant die, but the only protection is 1 turn evade..

Because this game not true to the lore. Lalter rhongo can't pierce invul while longinus percival can. Which is bs lorewise because rhongo is so powerful that it needs 13 seals compared to longinus 2 selas also there are more if you ever watch Fate series. Game is just for balance reason often jarring for Fate series fan.

With 2x Koyaskaya/Oberon you guarantee Ishtar's third skill 50% buff for both the 2nd and third turn causing her red cards to hit like gangbusters. Gil can't do that as well, especially when it isn't a servant. Oh and what does Gil have for survivability? Not a bloody thing. An 80% change a quite a bit better than no chance, don't you agree? You can keep the arrogant king. I prefer the not so useless goddess.

That's why you need to roll new unit, old unit quite obsolete with their crappy np gain, kits and hit count. I still remember when og artoria and salter is top tier until ibuki come, muramasa, sphishtar, skama, sibuki and the list goes on. Lasagna is greedy they keep releasing new servants rather than maintaining existed servants. From business wise that's a good approach because people often bored using same servants over and over again better create alter form of their same self and make them busted so they can keep money coming.

Honestly depends if you just need them to dome somebody on 1 wave or if you need them to loop 2 nodes. Someone like MHXX can be really good for blasting someone to the next galaxy but not as good as someone like Archer Artoria if you need them to loop their NP back.

Tesla can be used to 6-slot normal nodes frontline only. Has dmg mod for 90++. Gil has the benefit of also being good for ST nodes/Raids but for that you have free STs that will give similar results. Ishtar lacks the dmg mod otherwise she is almost the same. arjuna sucks. Tametomo and Napoleon only worth for 90++. He isn't on the sup list because he isn't popular and the sup list is irrelevant for stuff other than sups and CQ only servants.

Pretty sure Gil and Ptelomy deal more dmg than her, have more charge and comp variation. Musashi at least has the dmg, but is locked into double castoria comps who are way less efficient in daily nodes compared to using lesser sups like Xufu and waver or an Aoe in place of the second castoria.

If you want him for farming, then you need both Koyanskaya (of Light) and Oberon, and max out his NP append, to get the most efficient use out of him (though, of course, you can still happily farm without them); Zenobia, on the other hand, "only" wants Castoria. Outside of farming, they're both good - Tametomo bypasses most forms of protection, Zenobia does big crits when the enemies' shields are down. Generally speaking, I think Tametomo is going to do more damage than Zenobia, but really it depends on if you've got more arts or buster support, and if there's anyone else you're interested in levelling up.

​@@eruantien9932 you don't necessarily need Oberon. Just two koyans and a 50 battery support is enough if you have a kaleidoscope and max append. First turn the skill that gives 20 np every turn and NP, second one two batteries from koyans, third one 20 form 3rd skill+30 from 2nd skill and with the Mystic code that lets you switch you go for the 50 battery (I go skadi for def down+quick buff) and slay everything. I prefer him to Gil (have em both) since for difficult challegens he has more buff removals and stuff and his buster and quick Crists are insane
