Hey Arris. Have you heard about the new flash theory? Well the theory is is that in the New 52/ Rebirth comics....The Color of a Flash's lightning tells how connected to the speedforce and fast they are. The colors are based off of blue shift. So basically Red = Slow/Low connection (New 52 Wallace West) Yellow = Medium connection (Barry in rebirth.) Blue/White = Fastest/Highest connection. (New 52 Future barry and Titans Rebirth Wally west.)...((When barry was able to shift time forward he had white lightning too.Future barry is obviously blue.)) For the Negative speedforce the colors are the exact opposite. (Red=Fastest Blue=Medium White=Slow) This theory also explains why the flash has blue lightning in the DCEU. Chris Terrio (Screenwriter for JL) did an interview where he talked about How he studied electromagnetic physics and how Barry's powers would actually work IRL with Blue and Red Shift. Blue/Red shift basically put is colors are equal to speed.. Just like what they're doing with the comics. Brett Booth the artist of The New 52 flash and Titans Rebirth Comics basically confirmed this as well. So considering that barry allen has yellow lightning currently in rebirth and wally has white, if this theory is true, this would mean even the current version of wally is faster than barry.

Go and re-read "Flash The Human Race". Wally had been running across Space-Time for 10 days!!! He was already the fastest being alive but couldn't keep running as he was getting tired. We already know that he was faster than Krakyl because he saved him when they were trying to escape the pull of a black hole. But by the time he proposed the race he was very tired and would need to maintain his top speed in order to keep up with the trans-dimensional radio signal that was being beamed to earth. This also explains just how Wally is capable of faster feats than Barry even though Barry is the source of the Speed Force. Wally's speed steal abilities are so proficient that he could take that much from the entire planet and who knows how much more. Think of it like Usain Bolt finding a way to run the entire 100m dash at the speed he was at between 6s - 8s of his World Record Sprint.

Maybe the more barry respects another speedster, the more they can tap into the speedforce. That would make so much sense! Tell me what you think. I always thought that Barry used up too much energy creating the speed force and couldn't properly tap into it because he was constantly making it at the same time. this would be the reason why other speedsters are faster than Barry because they can fully tap into it while he's working on two things at the same time

I thought so too but the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense that Barry allows Wally to tap into far more of the speedforce. The key lies in wally reaching Nirvana within the speedforce. quote"heavenly status within the speedforce" Barry is in a sense the embodiment of the speedforce and that is why I say. Wally's speed is linked to barry. I think barry doesn't respect himself as much as he respects wally and thus he cannot tap into more of the speedforce. Another key point is the Anti monitor. Where barry ran so fast, he turned into speedforce and created the lightning that struck himself. Creating the speedforce yet again.

well, actually it does make sense. If i remember correctly, Barry Generates the force as he runs, which means there is some form of bleed off of energy into the universe, which means he can't use it to move faster. Wally is a pure user of it, meaning he just uses it with zero bleed. So wally would have a greater speed, even if he wouldn't be able to do it without the battery, Barry.

So here is what I think. Wally is fast, he might be the fastest out of all the Flashes that ever existed. Barry on the other hand, is something completely different. If you've read the comics, some origins state that Barry was the lightning bolt that gave him his powers. He IS the Speed Force. Every speedster draws their power from the very force that Barry creates with his movements. So... I think, currently, Wally is the fastest. That does not mean he is the most powerful. That title belongs to Barry alone. The reason I say this is because, should Barry ever truly master his powers, then he would be able to strip all of the other speedsters of their speed. Not only that, but he has spent the most time in it...so just like Superman......just imagine how much faster he is now that he's come out of it. .......feel free to argue with me, but look at Superman after he takes a bath in the Sun.

I feel like we're missing a few things here such as the fact that Barry went through the struggle of time travel so the readers wouldn't want to see it again with wally, and Barry generates speed force wally only harness' it making it harder for him to escape the speed force cause he himself is making it and giving it more power to hold onto him with while Wally is draining it while getting faster as he did.
