I think either Shawn Ray or Lee Priest. Some others from that era were amazing but we're missing areas like calves and forearms. Priest had all the mass in all the areas. But for conditioning, man Ray was pretty dialled in back in the day.

In terms of aesthetic I would say Flex Wheeler is the most bc 1993 he had the physique everyone wanted to look like. However Open has turned into a freak show and now Classic is that aesthetic physique like Chris Bumstead that every young and upcoming athletes and fans of bodybuilding want to look like. The people want something attainable and not freaky to look at. Classic is what we want to be, Open is what we pay to really see.

Absolutely agree with Shawn Ray’s assessment of Aesthetic muscular physiques …. The BEST EVER (in my eyes as well) has been (& STILL IS) : Mr Bob Paris. From the very first moment I saw his physique til today. My Top 3 EVER are: 1). Bob Paris 2). Frances Benfatto 3). Shawn Ray The epitomise just the RIGHT amount of muscles, muscle density; muscle separation & most importantly BALANCE & SYMMETRY. And they ALL were MASTERS OF MUSCLE 💪 ILLUSION through mastery of posing on stage . They had PRESENCE. All Top 10 Olympia…. But my Top 3 of ALL time …. That’s not true tho just look at the 99 Olympia and the 2000 Arnold classic where Chris should’ve beat him but didn’t because it was a popularity contest back then but Chris was always was more balanced, wider, had better hamstrings and lats, more conditioning, didn’t use synthol and killed him in the back poses

Flex was good in his prime in the 90s but those synthol triceps ruined him later on, it's probably why he had to get his leg amputated. lucky he's still alive imo... synthol side effects are no joke...
