One of my favorite mangaka's has to be Sui Ishida, the fact that Tokyo Ghoul was his first ever manga still blows my mind to this day!

My first physical manga was also Vagabond. I love this list and you've definitely convinced me to check Bakuman out. Ohba and Obata are such an iconic duo!

Sorachi is also goated. He’s the Gintama mangaka. I haven’t read the manga because I think the anime adaption does a better job when it comes to addressing the comedy but Sorachi way of referencing other anime and making peak comedic jokes while at the same time making the mainly episodic series developed and dark was genius

So no Araki? His work gets referenced by half the anime industry Araki has his art in Louvre which is the biggest art museum (Mona Lisa is kept there) He has collabed with Gucci, Mercedes, Seiko, Louis Vuitton etc He's JoJo mangaka for those who don't know

Mate, I love Araki, in fact JOJO is one of my favorite mangas (Part 7 especially) but the authors I put here just impacted me more; If I were to do another list people like Araki, Asano, Ito, & Toriyama would definitely come. I'm sorry about that.

My favourite Mangaka are: Sui Ishida, Yuki Tabata, Tatsuki Fujimoto and Masashi Kishimoto. I really admire all of them, and I hope that one day I can create something that impacts people, how they impacted me.

Go Nagai would nead a honourable mentioning as he created many of the mainstream genres like mecha and magical girls. Also he was the firsts who draw the most extreme of violence at the time and created literally the first echy manga.

I really need to read Naoki Urasawa's work. I've always loved his artstyle especially with how he draws heads/faces, yet I just haven't read any of his work. Need to change that

Great video, but should have rather written the title in a way which would imply more as your preference list, like the mangakas that impacted you the most, rather than generalizing. The parameters by which you have included stuff doesn't seem consistent, as lets say, Tezuka and Oda seem odd ones in the bunch. Araki or Go Nagai, which suit the list better, aren't even mentioned. Not invalidating your choices or anything, but parameters specified or "my preference" specified than just generalizing would have been good. Also great voice and the content, the reason you gave for choosing them, were described in a great way. Would definitely subscribe.
