One thing I think Morj is overlooking is that in a Kabuki play, Act 4 is the act that usually has the best action. Even if you're disappointed in the Strawhat 1v1s (and I'm not, I actually rly enjoyed them), the real action is going to come from the Strawhats Vs Kaido. It's my belief, and Morj has made some videos on this before too, that the Strawhats will fight Kaido and win, as a parallel to the Scabbards fighting Kaido & losing. The difference will be that the Scabbards don't have Oden but the Strawhats do have Luffy. I think Morj is too hung up on the 1v1s here, which I think is bizarre because if you look back at Thriller Bark, not all of the Strawhats got 1v1s and for the ones that did, it wasn't one of their best or most iconic fights in the series. That's because the main combat was all the Strawhats Vs Oars, *that* was the main focus. And that's one of my favourite fights in the series.

If that does happen, which it sorta makes sense to, I'll be so happy. I personally enjoyed 2 of the Tobbi Roppo fights (Robin v BM & Jinbe v WW) and the other 2, I was sorta meh on, just from a narrative perspective. It'd be nice to see more of a struggle, but at the end of the day it's just my thoughts. SH v Kaido is something that'd be stunning to witness and seeing the parallels to Scabbards v Kaido would be something fantastic to compare with as well.

Morj If you compare wano to alabasta it makes wano look better in a lot of case. The scabbard oden yasuie orochi conflict is infinitely more interesting than the alabasta rebel koza conflict. Tama is so much well established than the old dude digging sand, and they serve the same purpose. Momo and yamato is already more interesting and got more development than vivi. None of the strawhats had really any personal ties to alabasta aside from luffy and the old guy digging sand( i don't count vivi as the bond she formed with strawhats didn't happen in alabasta, same reason i don't count kinemon and momo). At least in wano there is sanji toko, tama luffy and zoro hyori In alabasta none of the strawhats aside from chopper believed that it's possible for luffy to lose, same thing in wano. In alabasta after the big luffy defeat he recovered by eating meat, in wano at least he had to suffer in prison for a bit. In alabasta after luffy's big defeat he literally pulled out the water luffy meme, while the king was literally being curcified. That's more tension damaging than anything in wano. The biggest low point in alabasta aside from luffy defeat was literally vivi being thrown off a building. The low points in wano are way more significant with luffy being imprisoned, yasuie death, oden's death. The chapter of scabbards arriving on shore is arguably the biggest low point of the series, as at that moment it seemed like every progressed we have made for the first two acts were squandered , that yasuie's death, oden and toki's sacrifice was meaningless. Of course it was overturned quickly, but it would be very had to find a moment like that in any other arc. Reread wano your opinion will change
