Best way is to start with Fate Stay night then UBW then the movie trilogy, and then zero… telling people to start with zero is like telling people to watch JJK 0 before season 1…

The manga changed my life. Read it from the first week to the last when it ran. Cultured me a lot to get into Gintama and Bobobo after and other quality artisan works and short stories. Also got me to appreciate work ethic, quality and integrity. Definitely kept it real, down to earth and practical for me.

In fact oikawa is NOT average, he just thinks he is because some are greater than him...
@Speegsy
@Speegsy 3 ай бұрын
I feel like the idea that oikawa is just a hard worker undermines his talent. In sports talent is everything. Hard work has to be the right work. The reason you think some people are more talented despite you working harder is not because of that at all. It’s true they’re more talented but the environment they had fostered that talent. While you try to “work hard” you’re not doing what makes them talented. Kageyama as a kid enjoyed volleyball enjoyed being a setter he didn’t think about putting in so much work so he just played it because it was fun and he liked it that’s what gave him the edge over oikawa. Oikawa is talented and even if he believes kageyama and ushijima are better he’s not right to think that. Their teams are better at the end of the day that’s why he couldn’t win. Oikawa is talented he believes in himself but the only setback he had was thinking he’s not as talented as kageyama or ushijima.

This is my favourite "slice of life" manga/anime of the last couple of years. The characters there feel so real, that you want to get to know them, to befriend them. Each of us has problems and everyone would like to have a partner/friend like Isaki or Nakami, with whom they can share and truly open up.

バクマンは、私が私であることを助けてくれた唯一のものであり、マンガ家としての道を追求し、私自身、今度の単行本『ビフォア・ビースト』(BE:Beasts)や『ビースト・オブ・トーキョー』などのマンガを創作している。 Bakuman is the only thing that helped me be what I am, and pursue my journey of Mangaka, I myself create manga's such as upcoming one-shot Before Beasts (BE:Beasts) and Beasts of Tokyo

This was one of my favorite shows of the last couple of years. Made me tear up a few times, especially when Magari reveals her reason for having such anxiety and insomnia: her heart condition. She talks about being in the hospital as a kid, having surgeries, then telling Ganta as she hugs him, "hear that? That's my heart. It sounds different because I only have half." (I can't remember her exact words, but something like that). I choked because my daughter has had 4 open heart surgeries and only has half a heart. It was never named specifically in the manga or the anime show, but the creator confirmed in a interview that she has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. That's what my daughter has. 😭❤️

I have loved like all of the animangas which show creative arts. As an artist, when I heard of Bakuman, I was jumping with joy and instantly took up the manga.. But I just couldn't get past the misogyny man... Like I am a girl, and as much as I am an artist, and wanted to let the chapter 2 thing go, I just couldn't shake away the fact that the story which I wanted to love and adore...... Literally hates the idea of me actually loving it. Its like when you role model hates you for being in a particular race and doesn't like you to take up their own field which they inspired you to take... Its a shame, but I can't shake away this fact that this series doesn't welcome me becos of my gender. I can't look past this fact.

I am a bachelor student doing my bsc on mathematics and theoretical computer science. For context i am studying in one of the top colleges in india in this field. When i was in class 11-12 is used like mathematics but i never thought i would be able to study in one of the top notch colleges in india. So you can call being a mathematician was a day dream of me. In my class 12 i watched Bakuman and somehow it inspired me somehow. It actually made me feel ashamed of not even trying. I started learning mathematics clearly. I atudied a lot, solved a lot. Gave the entrance but i failed. I was brokwn down thinking all that hard work in vein. Even thought as if someone like me could ever become a part of such a top level college. Somehow i was watching bakuman again. I dont know why. Then i was so angry on myself i decided to take a year of, get admitted to a low tier college so that i can get a lot of time for the entrnace exam preparation again. Thia time not only the entranc eof that college i was preparing for some other collwges too for engineering which covers different topics. So that year my workload was exponential than before. But this time i pssed the entrance and now i am in my final year exam. Even in this college firat two years my grades were not good since everyone in my batch are so good. Not an excuse they are literally good since what i am reding in the college they have completwd in the high school (being a top tier college thia type of thing is norm there). But in my last year my course grades started improve too. In these 3 years multiple time i felt i am not good enough just leave it but everytime i was down i used to warch bakuman and get inspired to run for my dream and work harder. Now i gave an exam for the best institute in my country for theoretical computer science or you can say mathematics aince in this field math and computer science becomes almoat same. This institute comes in 37th rank csrankings in world for algorithms and complexity theory which i want to do a phd on. I am going to give an interview fter 3 days for my admission there. Even now being such a top level institute (in the world) my feet shake. I feel like this is not possible by me. How can a guy who even struggling in basic math courses can study in such a high level institute. But again ashirogi mutocs journey inspires me time to time. Even if i dont get this admission i dont have any regrets. At least i tried my full. Time to time even after continuous falls bakuman inspired me to run again. Work hard twice. To conclude i dont think i could come this fr without this anime. I adore this anime soo much for making my life.

I finished Punpun two nights ago, on purpose while going through the worst my life had to offer, yet. It was a very deliberate decision, because I don't like reading stuff like Punpun when I feel good (which is rare, so I don't like to tarnish it with stuff like that), I would instead read the manga when I'm feeling the worst possible. My whole friend group and anyone I know advised me against it. However, I decided to binge it when I was at the rock fucking bottom and it was an incredibly healing experience for me. Maybe I'm the only person in the world who has been so positively impacted by Oyasumi Punpun but I've finished the manga feeling positively refreshed. I realized that no matter how shit my life can be and however horrendous my current circumstances are, I can never sink as low as Punpun - because of the one factor I have that he does not. Luck. I'm lucky to have two best possible friends on the entire earth and my own conscious that has iron discipline and a moral compass that guides me through all of this, thick or thin. I realized that no amount of pressure current or future can make me snap - because I've been lucky to develop a certain resilience - a shield, to put up as a front when the going gets tough. It's a horrible manga, but I think that I couldn't have made a better choice than read it at this moment, when my life seems so hopeless and bleak, it helped me to resume fighting, to not waste a second longer. Somehow, intrinsically, before I even started to read it, I knew that would be the outcome, so I'm really happy I read it. Punpun reminds me of how much I've yet to go, but most importantly, of how much I've bitten off and chewed through. One thing we both agree on, however, is that it is a manga I simply cannot recommend. It's a very personal journey for everyone, I'd say.

I watch this anime when I'm trying hard for something. I'm watching it for the 4th time now and it really motivates me. The most important thing is to continue to struggle despite all the difficulties. I think this is exactly what the Shounen spirit is like in real life

So many great things about this manga. Small details about how they completed a year in the astronomy club and now they are in year 2. When they are giving prospective new members a tour of the observatory, the new members ask about the telescope. They struggle to tell the new students that they have never used the telescope and only taken pictures of the night sky with their SLR camera and phone camera. For some reason I found that and many other situations funny and relatable. I feel let down by the ending of the manga. I couldn't clearly tell what happened. Sadly that kinda leaves a cloud over this otherwise fantastic story. Maybe that's the point where you have to collect the beautiful moments that you can because the future is always uncertain.

I personally LOVE where anime is right now, especially considering how Shonen seems to be maturing along with its audience. Although there's a lot of mid rn, there's also way more bangers airing per season whereas before it felt like there was only one or two good shows airing every season. Great video man, love to see you back!

I'm happy that Anime is growing because, even with it being as "mainstream" as it is now, it hasn't reached the whole world. Here in Portugal, even though it is considerably bigger than years ago, it is still looked down upon by older people and it's mostly viewed as something for kids. So I still get to feel like the outcast despite eveything xD In terms of production, we still get amazingly great anime made with passion every year, so even though the artstyle is just different, for me it's just as charming ^^

Bakuman is quite literally my lifeline. As an aspiring comic artist, I tend to get down a lot, not feel like drawing. All I have to do is read a few chapters of Bakuman and I’m full of energy and inspiration again. Not sure how that witchcraft works, but it does. I’ve watched the anime all the way through once, and am currently on my third read-through of the manga. I pretty much know the whole story by heart by now (If you’ve only seen the anime, I highly recommend reading the manga. The anime was cut a bit short. There’s a second Nanamine arc that wasn’t animated that I absolutely love!)
