Here's the rub. More powerful than the Creator? Fanboy want. That's why logically Superman will use his powers to any limit, and be one of the most intelligent geniuses on the planet earth, but he'll always fight Batman not at super speed or with enhanced reflexes(which he can effortlessly do), with all of his strength, Use flight, super breath, or anything that would make Batman a smear on the pavement. Because the public now likes Batman more than Superman. That's why Superman will be fast enough to pluck bullets out of the air with some nobody (bullets travel at a speed of 304.8 meters per second), he'll be blind sided and will not be able to react to a punch through by Batman (Keith "Fastest Punch" Liddell has the record of fastest punch in the world with a speed of 20 Meters Per Second). Because the fans want Batman to win. That's why Superman can soak two planets colliding on him... But Batman can angle his body so well that a punch from him somehow has more of an impact than two planets crushing a human sized body. And I know people want to talk about Kryptonite. I take you back to the Bullet catching thing. Supes has to be fast enough to understand a bullet's being shot and move his body with enough speed to not only understand where the trajectory of the bullet is going to hit, but move his arms and fingers quick enough to actually catch it... And you're telling me he's not fast enough to stop a human from action? But he will almost always lose to Batman. Again. Not because of how the Writers wrote them. Batman wouldn't have a chance. But he does because he's the Fanboy's favorite.

I’m always intrigued by any comic/ animated series’ attempts to involved the concept of a multiverse/ omniverse and how they attempt to rectify the origin of everything by a central creator. And they soon discover the core conundrum: without giving explanations and descriptions that almost seem to be dismissive of any attempt to confront seeming inconsistencies in storyline, how do you meaningfully incorporate concepts such as nothingness and higher dimensional realities without violating its own logic? In Ben 10-Omniverse, the creators/ great equalizers are the Contemelia. They’re higher dimensional beings who can appear as anything that the one viewing them can comprehend... so to Ben, they appear as a giant soft drink. And each universe was an experiment. Their means to destroy any universe, the Annihilaarg. As with DC’s or Marvel’s explanations of sources whose perturbations create that franchise’s version of God, it seems to answer where it came from, but also creates more questions. And incorporating theoretical science topics such as Super String theory, Quantum Field theory and astrophysics doesn’t always help. Anywho, good vid, keep up the good work.

So this just confirms what i always though the presence, source overmonitour ect are all the same they are representations of the writers and exist not only in DC but in every universe out there because artist and writers can change or work for multiple companies. Hell you can even say that we the readers are also God because we read the page give voices to the character and make time move forward or backwards by flipping pages, even revive destroyed universes by rereading comics that are from before rebirth. I like the concept of Eldritch fiction becoming mainstream as I feel it opens up new avenues for storytelling that some types of literary pieces are just incapable of creating. One of my favourite examples that has been seen as extremely steeped in lore is Adventure Time. Pardon me for mentioning this program but I feel it explores the mythos of creation in a very child friendly way that illustrates the ideas of omnipotence and such without being too negative and horrific. So, to round out my point, I love stories of ancient entities fighting cuz it's cool n' shit. Peace in the middle East homes.

When I watch this, I feel like when I was 13 and was reading trought books on theurgy, qabbalah, ontology and all possible metaphysics, magic(k) and mysticism I've found. It is a really special time for me, because I see another version of a mythology and a map of a reality, like is the sephiroth, the tree of life, or chakras and levels of the reality. Because of you, I will read many comics and with all possible effort I will try to decipher it in regards to theories of Neoplatonics, Súfism or Thelema....or whatever else psychocosmos I will find. Personally I find DC's take on this pretty convoluted, when you just keep upping and upping and upping to concept of the creator in this fictional setting, you eventually come to a point where little else can be done with such a concept. This is why azatoth is a bit more interesting. Lovecraft enjoyed making horrors and any sense of humanity were always an afterthought in his work, misty because he hated people. So having a horror like azatoth being the be all and end all in his work was fine, you weren't invested in the grounded characters in Lovecraft's story the same way you would be in DC's storytelling
