I’m a US gal, so I’ve been trying to understand and follow, was Chinchilla briefly on the Voice UK? How many episodes? KZbin (that I can see in the States)has her debut performance on The Voice, but nothing further, so I was just trying to find out what happened with her time on that show. I feel in love with her song Little Girl Gone and I wish her all the best with her career!

She performed on the Callbacks performing "Virtual Insanity" with 3 other contestants (it's on YT, but maybe not in the US?). She wasn't asked back after that. Weird, as she was by far the best. The performances were recorded many months before "Little Girl Gone" blew up, but were aired afterwards.

Thank you, @SavageGrace, that clarifies what happened, and I appreciate you letting me know! I haven’t tried to look up the other performances from that season of UK Voice, I don’t know what we USA folk have permission to see. Anyway, I gather reality show recording contracts are notoriously not the best, so she probably got a better deal being independent when Little Girl Gone blew up. Is her new work popular in the UK?

@@jennifermullan4865 Nowhere near the level it should be for her talent. She played the Great Escape Festival in Brighton on 24th May. Just a smallish hall really. I would say a large majority of people will have never heard of her. She only has 138k subscribers to her YT channel, which is ridiculous. If you haven't subscribed yet, I would definitely recommend it and check out the live version of "Little Girl Gone" as well as her live of the new song "1:5". Live is where she shines most. The old Awakening EP should be reissued as well, as there are some great songs on that, especially "One Time" ;-)
