Fantastic review! I’ve been considering upgrading to the Wheeltop groupset (using v brake), and your detailed breakdown really helped clarify its benefits. Your clear explanations of the installation process and performance were especially useful. Keep up the great work!!!!

I’ve used these since May and too many adjustments to get the gears working correctly and front derailleur rub is a nightmare to get right. (I’ve spent his knows how many hours messing about) The front gear lever now doesn’t work after a really wet ride so waterproof issues are a problem. Concerns that the rear derailleur charger cap simply doesn’t fit, it’ll come loose on a ride exposing the charger so this will cause issues down the line.

Great review! As you mentioned I had the same issue on the front derailleur, somehow eventually I managed to line it up as you did. Casual mode works well enough and I agree with your conclusions!

The Wheel top EDS group was the perfect upgrade path for my very expensive custom titanium tandem with S&S couplers. Hydraulic disc brakes and 12 speed were not an option. 11 speed and cable brakes are the only option. So the wireless and cable brakes of the EDS system were perfect for me.

Awesome review! As for the shifting speed ,imo, it doesn't really matter because in the real world you're not constantly shifting up & down the cog on ADHD mode while riding. I'm intrigued but I will perhaps wait for version 2.

Just got mine installed. The reasons? 1. Arthritis in the hands, 2. Fits well on vintage bikes, 3. Price, 4. Don't have to buy another crankset, cassette, brakes, etc. Works well.

I bought 2 LTwoo sets for my disc bikes, I have rim bikes but LTwoo doesnt have rim version but Ive been lookin at the Wheeltop,as far as shifting speed u split hairs, none of us are gonna need a millionth of a second as we dont race in the TDF,gotta be realistic

Sir, you didn't mention that the batteries in the derrailleurs cannot be replaced at home.

Excellent review, I've been toying with getting this for a winter bike. Can you setup the front shifter by pressing both of the larger paddles ? In the same way as Sram ?

Unfortunately not. You can set whatever paddle you want but there is not double press configuration.

105 di2 works with Ultegra shifters and do the job with rim breaks.

That’s true. It would work well. Just had a look at the shifters cost though and it’s about £400 for the pair. By the time you have spent money on both, I think you may as well have just gone straight to ultegra.
