Also the almost unnecessary over the top details that are so specific & symbolic like being found naked yet with no signs of struggle like that’s something I’d scoff at as poor writing on a show. And her having a really successful career with her sketchy mlm that’s had multiple law suits but she recruits for and before that working at a hooters-type restaurant that’s probably more likely to attract pervs and creeps than restaurants with standard uniforms. Meeting friends online, one who just got divorced (that such a random yet heavy and sus in this situation side detail) through bumble and then another friend who had multiple plastic surgeries to look like Meghan Markle like these people are CHARACTERS and it’s all so specific and sets up so many different players & suspects & possibilities like everyone is literally too suspicious like if it was show id be like “how the hell are the writers gonna wrap this up in 7 more episodes” and regardless how these hypothetically writers do or what these real life detectives uncover, I feel like it’s going to be like when a show has a big reveal but the fan theories were just as if not more viable and made more sense and matched more pieces together smoothly. Like they’re gonna solve the case and I’m gonna be like wait but that whole subplot about the sketchy mlm, that theory with the Meghan Markle friend and DJ guy made way more sense because the lack of social media posts yet signs of texting!! I’m gonna feel like the writers forgot details the audience still remembers but it’s real life and someone actually died and it’s so sad but also just so so like mind boggling what a case

I feel like the friends saying she was so positive & Tom saying she was always stressed is actually VERY typical of an mlm girl. When I was in it I’m sure people would have said similar things about me because that was the role I played - even with close friends and family. My husband was the only one who saw the darker side. I think people need to look more at her friends.
@f0repl4y3 жыл бұрын
They should, but I doubt her friends we're involved. They're opportunists trying garner attention... Its obvious they're clout chasers. Its probably Tom or her new boyfriend. I think its Tom. Almost every case where the spouse have an argument, one of them turns up dead. Maya Millete's case (unsolved but it points to her Husband), the missing Vista woman (husband did it), Chris Watts, Scott Peterson, Susan Cox Powell's case, Mark Winger etc. Need I say more?

I thought this too. I’ve never done this type of work but I usually don’t show my bad feelings to my friends or family- I’ve definitely put on a happy face around certain people. I think it’s not weird at all, her friends were in the MLM girl boss influencer group. Vanity, shallowness, faking happiness, and obsessing over likes becomes second nature to these people. It probably worked both ways here: Alexis pretended to be positive and charismatic to not lose her social status amongst her peers or disappoint them, and her friends covering for her reputation post mortem. Of course, they could’ve not perceived it at all either.

I think they said that because they don’t want Tom to try and paint an Image of her or try to insinuate that she ended her own life or was stressed by drugs or sketchy ppl. her friends were basically trying to say that there wasn’t anything going on with her to “cause” this to happen. i was so ready to hop on the "tom is guilty" train but her friends are so suspicious!! as someone who has experience as an MLM hun, those friendships are the FAKEST, most shallow friendships ever so tom saying she had her demons and the friends having no clue makes a lot of sense to me. plus that justice for alexis hashtag before she's even been found dead?? weird af! i wouldn’t be surprised if we find out the friends were involved. obvi not saying tom isn’t sus either i just feel really hinky about her friends, especially tanya.
@yoselinf12693 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the friendships seemed very shallow. I don’t know if I’d say that they were involved, but it is very clear that they really weren’t close friends. MLM schemes are all about fake friendships and projecting a happy facade in order to sell the life to someone else. Double that with the life of an influencer that calls for constant smiles and attractive friends and it’s even more fake. If you check their instas, they posted maybe 2 or 3 images of Alexis then went right back to their regular posts and trips. If I lost a really close friend, I wouldn’t be on social media for months on end and wouldn’t have the energy to post my regular content.

Kendall, I know you may not see this but I submitted a case I’d like for you to cover. The victim is Shana Jaros. She was stabbed over 50 times many years ago. I have been friends with her younger brother for close to 20 years now and he is still horrified by it. At the time I lived in St. Louis, Mo and was still a child, but Nokomis Illinois, where the victim is from, is not super far from StL. There has NEVER been any publicity for Shana in the area. I feel a profound sadness for all these young people taken from us senselessly and I pray every day for resolution to their cases. Alexis was a beautiful young woman with a lot of life to live. I hate these atrocities happened to these ladies.

But Tanya mentioning a possible affair and posting alleged texts between Alexis and Tom over a month after her "best friend" is dead is normal, and how did she get access to their texts to begin with ? I wouldn't want some third party posting private messages between me and my now recently murdered wife for the world to see....and tell everyone my wife was going out behind my back with another man on a date she help set up to begin with and tried to hide the first few weeks of the case until she accidentally mentioned it on a screenshot of a text which also listed her BF as the last person to have contact with her. Sounds like making Alexis rep and character look even worst after death to me ! Until Dec 11 there was no Seb being at Tanya's house that night as well as no date at a bar afterwards,she hasn't even mentioned the name of this alleged bar to this day, but as no problem yapping about everything else about this case since for some reason she knows everything everyone said and did and who was calling and texting who. She told her friend in confidence, that her “husband” liked to “strangle her until she blacked out...” then her official cause of death was deemed “homicide by strangulation” + the fact they were divorcing at the time, including his past divorce history says volumes to me... 🤷🏼♀️

Which friend ? They keep changing that story as to who it was and whether it was a text,phone call, or face to face conversation...I know, she woke up in the " bathroom" only 🙄. He wasn't even the last person to see her.

exactly, so obvious its laughable but explained away even in this video as strangulation during sex being some kind of kinky harmless sexual aberration. What???? This is misogyny and extreme violence against women that ultimately ended in her death.
@MichaelWH3 жыл бұрын
@@karentheisen4235 Like I have to say every day, there is no evidence he strangled her "once" let alone all the time and she woke up in the bathroom floor "only". Her friends keep changing the story of who was the one friend Alexis supposedly told and whether it was a text, phone call, or face to face communication And only in the bathroom,gee what a coincidence that usually in a bathroom somebody is nude and covered with water, and how was she found dead ?...that's right, nude and covered with water (cause it rained heavily that night). They can't decide who told who and how and when, but they sure get the bathroom part of the story right and keep mentioning it over and over. Then again,even if she was abused these 7 friends didn't give a shit until she was already dead, which they seemed to know Alexis was before she was even found. He was so abusive to her that Alexis got to go on all these trips without him and just the GF's only all over the world where she partied with other men and lived high on the Hog 🐷,walking around half naked and no visible marks or bruises on her face or entire body ...ever? No friend ever pulled her aside , noticed anything and talked to her and Alexis had to tell "them" she was being abused and they only reveal it after her death? Oh I forgot, she was always happy and had no demons and barely talked about Tom, the glue that held the friends together and all that other stuff people say about a deceased person
@karentheisen42353 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelWH Given that he strangled her during sex and she died of strangulation, it seems highly likely that he strangled her, whether or not it was on purpose or by accident. And since 80% of the time when a woman is murdered, it is her husband or boyfriend who did it. It all points strongly to the husband. But my real point here is the way the poster of this video presents strangulation during sex as just being a run of the mill, slightly aberrant perhaps but normal activity. It is irresponsible to present this very violent, misogynistic and dangerous act as a normal sexual activity. There is nothing normal about it. It's abusive and extremely dangerous for women.
@MichaelWH3 жыл бұрын
@@karentheisen4235 Who said he strangled her during sex ? Her friends said that, doesn't mean it's true cause we can't ask Alexis. And they also said she woke up in the bathroom only...100% of the time. Could it be cause one is usually soaked with water and naked in the bathroom, and what a coincidence, she was found dead "Soaked with water and naked" (cause of the hard rain)., if she was just found dead and naked, they could have said the bedroom and that they were having sex or something, but since it rained heavily that night, I guess the bathroom made better sense cause it cover both being naked and covered with water . First they said she was choked cause of sex, then they said it was because Tom was so angry with her, so what the hey, they probably thought "lets stick with both stories" They changed the story at least 4 times as to which "one" friend Alexis told this too and whether it was a text,phone call, or face to face conversation or when it happened, then at one time it was said "She told all of us at the same time on a group text"...I mean first it was one person and they couldn't decide who, then it was the whole group of 7 at one time, and not one of them can prove it, as much as these women lived on their phones and internet ? They started a "Justice For Alexis" tagline and Go Fund Me page that is still going now at over 26 thou that her mom was supposed to get, before Alexis was even found, it's like they (she) already knew she was dead and strangled. These friends and Alexis only knew each other since February 2020,not like they knew each other that well, and most of that was going on all these all girl vacations all over the world, you know since mean ol Tom was so controlling and possessive ,yet she still got to go and had all that freedom for such a kept woman who got choked in the bathroom only and no other room in the entire home and it doesn't rain inside. So yes I question her friends more so than her husband. And not one camera or eyewitness in Houston TX caught him doing anything suspect this whole time from sneaking her out of the apt, into the parking lot and then shoving her in his car, going to dispose of the body, then eventually coming back to the apt building without her ?
