as a Canadian it seems that the USA that could have been truly great and truly lived up to its founding principles ...died....when JFK, RFK, and MLK were killed in span of only 5 years - killed by those people & arms of the US government who did not want the type of change that those 3 men advocated.....and it has been that coalition of power brokers & their heirs that have been pulling the strings in the States ever since....

No...I politely disagree. He was a strong man whose wisdom and understanding transcended race. A great man that all humanity, worldwide, would be wise to look up to and emulate. He was one of a handful of legends, many of whom were stolen from us in that era, that graced us with his presence and whose parting has left the world a little darker forever. RIP Martin, Malcolm, John, and Bobby, just to name a few. Miss you too, Mr. Gregory. Peace.

@@dawnmills5567 I disagree based on All the rioting in the name of BLM. I know that the majority marching and protesting and rioting are non black. MLK is rolling over in his grave because of all this havoc With in the streets of America. Martin Luther King, Jr. Would absolutely be speaking out against looting and rioting. Do you think when People were stealing clothing and other things That they were thinking of George Floyd. I caring TU as people were looting the stories nationwide the last thought in their brain was George Floyd. They are nothing more than opportunist and using George Floyd and others As an excuse to take things that do not to them. No way Martin Luther king would be have the caging any of this and not only that he would be condemning it on all the cable network media outlets.

You reap what you sow.. But the punishment comes from above in these cases. If you believe in a God then you know God would judged these people and give them their reward. There is absolutely no way to for shore know the people responsible for ML pay death did not repent before they left this world. So I cannot say for sure they will be punished. If they truly repented then very were forgiven by the creator. This is not my thoughts. This comes from all Abrahamic religions. Vengeance is mine says the Lord

It was a Memphis police officer who actually pulled the trigger from the bushes across from the Motel. He was under the supervision of the FBI and US Army. Agents posted on top of surrounding buildings provided 'overwatch' and had backup snipers in case anything went wrong. All the names of the main people involved are now known. @@jeremylawson6648 Its true. There is ample evidence that cameramen were positioned on rooftops to film the assassination and did to. I cannot recall the program I saw that on; I thought this was it and it may be only cut down, edited, etc. But I have seen a more detailed analysis of this crime that backs up Cliche including that the shooter jumped off the wall by a fire station and walked to a waiting squad car. That program also went into a lot of detail about The motel itself and surrounding buildings.

Same bad intentions...there were a number of undercover federal agents in the building and even in Malcolms own security detail the day he was killed. Cointelpro did it’s job and killed these brothers in addition to assassinating their characters. It’s not a coincidence the brightest leaders are killed when they’re perceived as a national threat by the established power structure. Hell, we kill leaders in other countries what makes you think it hasn’t been done here at home...

With all due respect to Dr. Martin Luther King indicating he has been to the Promise Land and look down from the mountain and had confidence, we as a Black American Race will get there, obviously saw a mirage of how things have changed for the worse, since his death in 1968, to where we are now in 2021. With that being said, if Dr. King was alive now, he would probably issue a public apology to Black Americans and tell us his dream turned into a nightmare. Just keeping it a real talk opinion.

When King was a child there were neighborhoods he couldn't live in by law, schools he could not attend, professions he could not work in, water fountains he could not drink from, busses he could not ride, women he could not date, the list goes on and on. He helped to change all of these things within his short lifetime. He needs to apologize to no one! We need to yes, strive to continue improvement, but with equal passion, be thankful to him and those like him who accomplished giving better options and circumstances in this country. He didn't drop the torch, he passed it, and it's our turn to take it further. To be bitter that he did not provide us with more is unfathomable to me and quite frankly, lazy.
