In my experience since I've been listening to Uncle Tony, I've followed this advice by offering to pay my half on the 1st date. Both times were positive experiences. Uncle Tony is absolutely right when you offer to pay your half it allows the man to show you, "He got it" I had a 1st date a few weeks ago. When the bill came I offered to pay my half. The man said "No, I got it. Idk what you're used to but you'll never have to come out your pocket with me" I've left a comment previously about this topic. The 1st time I offered to pay my half, the man paid and said "it's refreshing to come across a woman to offer to pay for their meal" Neither of the times did they expect for me to pay when we went on more dates. Uncle Tony knows what he's talking about

Never take a drink from a man's hands either. I had offered to pay for my meal on a date. The response is what Tony says. I just let them pay for it and I thank him. The problem with offering to pay your half is 90% of the time it's with a man who will let you do everything 50/50 from there on. Only a tiny amount of men will say, "no way, I've got you" every time. Men should pay.

While that may have some truth to it, Tony gives this advice to empower women...he says that in doing so you will see the true nature of a man. Hi Tony, May you please make a video on why women initiate 70-80% of divorces? This is the proverbial argument made by men who refuse to get married. But, I believe that women who initiate divorce are not necessarily the ones who are unilaterally responsible for the breakdown of the relationship, since divorce is simply a legal term. So when men make this comment, it automatically absolves them of any responsibility when they shouldn’t be. Are men less likely to initiate divorce based on ego and pride? I know that, in comparison to women, men can be in limbo for a long time. I think that this would be a very interesting topic since it’s an aspect that have never been thoroughly discussed.
@tosin10183 жыл бұрын
I believe if you are a good woman, most men will not leave you even if the marriage have broken down and they know you are not happy and they are also not happy. Even though the marriage is not working out, 90% of women continue to serve and give on the home-front consistently. The man benefits from this - you being the home keeper, chef, babysitter, and sex partner- he will continue to hang on to this. He doesn’t want to lose these things even if he is unhappy. And he is able to go outside and still live single while married.

As a recovered red cross, I affirm that this advice is valid and needs to be practised religiously. I heard you talk about it previously and decided to try it. It was daunting at first because allowing a man to pay my bill was my way of showing him that I can be submissive. Basically, minimising myself so I do not intimidate him. Of course, this only led to me being a walking ATM. But offering to pay my part, actually exposes men who are uncomfortable in a woman's strength by the way they handle it. A simple move, that saves me from an experience of abuse months down the line. I like that @TonyGaskins clarify that it needs to be a mindset shift, not a mind game.

The issue is that now some men have the mentality about 50/50 so they expect you to pay sometimes especially if the women makes more income. And then the man will pay but then they expect the women to clean and cook and buy the food your going to cook . Like all of that adds up it’s so exhausting I honestly feel like dating has gotten harder. Because of women being gold diggers ruined for good women who are not trying to take advantage but just want things to be fair on both sides instead of feeling like I am taken for granted.

Me and my man met at work, one of the things that attracted us to each other was the fact that we both were hard workers. I would offer to pay because I feel he wasn’t obligated to pay for me since we wasn’t married but he never let me. He brought me things and I did the same. I had to take a break from working because I got pregnant and had our daughter, he moved us in and I didn’t have to worry about anything I still don’t. He encourages me to follow my career goals and even doing that he wants to pay for most of the bills. I feel like part of the reason why is because He knows I am willing to work with him side by side, never had an entitled attitude where when he was with his ex he had to do EVERYTHING including working, paying for her schooling, cleaning the house etc but she still cheated on him

Everybody loses when you play games as Mr. Gaskins says. I'm a masculine centered Lesbian who dates feminine centered ladies. In my humble opinion, I've dated a lady who insisted on paying for the whole bill when I didn't ask her to help. I perceived that as a sign of her being on a "power trip" and not having the capacity to allow a partner to lead in love which let me know that she and I were not compatible so I ended our connection. It's each of our responsibilities to do our deep emotional healing work to operate from a place of security, confidence and self assuredness in our personal relationships.

I went on a date before with a woman. And at the end i asked for the check she pulled out her card and she asked me "do you you want me to pay half?" And i smiled and said "its cool i got it". And i thought to myself wow she actually asked to pay half.
@Goldforever-vp8zq3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for breaking this down because some feminine channels will say women don’t know their worth if they offer to pay their half on a first date. Some women refuse to pay out of being cheap but if I have to use the last $300 in my bank account to pay for date because a man expected something from a date after a date that I refuse to give I won’t flinch to hand that money over.

@@breannn Again, the question is why aren't traditional dating ettiquet tips not appropriate to apply to modern dating? I'll break the question down in more simpler terms: Please explain why the old skool way of dating should not be taught for new skool dating. In other words, even though people of this modern day have "different mindsets" (whatever that means), why is it bad that they might learn a more proper, traditional way to date, especially when you consider that traditional dating leads to more respect of women and to more marriages?

Wow. This is a real breath of fresh air. I actually used to follow a female dating coach (she often keeps mentioning her 'good friend RC Blakes lol). And I started to feel something was off. Anyone who disagreed with her, or tried to challenge what she said, was either spoken down to, told off or had comments deleted. She was big on 'the feminine and the masculine '. She's from the UK. So am I. And the grandiosity in the accent grew and grew until I could barely understand it. I had my suspicions she was an absolute narcissist and I now truly believe it. I came here by chance and honestly this channel is a real breathe of fresh air. Full of common sense, humour and lots of wisdom. I was so sick of how to dress as a feminine woman, what footwear to choose,.. basically how to act like a manipulative child. Tony is right when he mentions that Jezebel spirit. I love RC Blakes, but I was thinking when he had her on his channel 'he's completely under the spell of this woman, and she knows it '. Tony Gaskin you are the real deal. No check in my spirit at all

I love the part when he talked about the very mindset i had, that in 2013 I started to realize that me and other women were raised to have...that mindset we took from watching tv seeing woman be stay at home wives and taken care of etc. that by the time i got grown things were different but my mindset was stuck in the 1800's or the 1950's (i wasnt born yet) where women only catered, had no say, were submissive, and it wasnt a partnership, it was a dominance. Im learning more and more that being independant is 🔑 key, not being codependant as I was..he be hitting on point w his messages💯

I have always been taught if you go on a date you always have money for what you get. If you feel as though a man is “supposed” to pay because he asked you then you shouldn’t go. If you’re going on the date you’ve agreed to get to know him. The same way he did so with asking you on the date. Nobody is owed anything. Women shouldn’t use men for a free meal because if you can’t feed yourself then you have bigger issues.

@bribri42753 жыл бұрын
While I agree with offering to pay my half at first meeting, I also believe that the energy required to compete in the marketplace for money is inherently masculine, and thus it seems going 50/50 at any point in time thereafter is inequitable for a woman expecting to operate mostly with feminine energy, and I would hate to have to wait for children for that to be honored and respected. For a woman to be considered high-earning, she is almost, if not always more stressed than a man in a similar position. So even though we are capable of such, it seems similarly oppressive to expect our “ability” to earn to necessarily change our courting habits.

As soon as I meet a man who can be okay with me paying for a date, without him immediately quitting to pay for dates after that, then I will be more open to paying for any date. First, second, third, whatever. The men I've encountered recently seem to interpret EVERY LITTLE THING a woman does as desperate, and "I'm doing this because I need a man in my life", which leads to them playing games. No thank you. I'd rather stay single and spend my money on myself.
