Wow Jordan, I was on the phone last week with a friend of mine who grew up with Bobby Fuller in El Paso, My friend was roommates with Bobby's drummer ( DeWayne Quireico). They lived in the very same apartment complex were Bobby was found in his car. My friend actually played drums with Bobby in the early days in El Paso. My buddy moved to LA shortly after Bobby and his band did, and actually hooked up with Rick Nelson and the Stone Canyon Band, he knows the Nelson twins, spent a lot of time at Rick's old house you did a vlog on some time back We've had long talks about what really happen to Bobby. You hit on several thoughts we've had over the years. Thank you so much for this vlog on Bobby, made my day my friend.

This case was first brought to my attention on Unsolved Mysteries 30+ years ago. Really struck me as outrageous for the cops to claim its a suicide! I remember they said he was doused with gas. Ridiculous

Isn’t it heartbreaking how many young deaths there were in the 60’s & 70’s among Celebrities because of how easy it seemed to be to get away with murder back then…so much mystery and unexplained deaths that were just simply left alone because of powerful companies and people connected. Loved ones trying to get justice had no where to turn.

The LA police chief had passed away suddenly two days before Bobby's death. Word was the LAPD couldn't be bothered to do a real investigation. Witnesses said a police officer did throw away the gas can; he was beat up and soaked in gasoline. And they called it a suicide.

Bobby had a nice voice and loved so loved his guitar sound. I will always think that someone got away with murder. sadly one of the Fuller Four passed away later on. Bobbys brother still sings from time to time, in his local town. I believe his family still owns Bobbys guitar

I remember this story from the television show Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack. I was too young to know the story first hand. I have to agree with your theory on what may have happened to the late Bobby G. Fuller. Because the odd circumstances of the deaths of Richie Valens and Sam Cook. They were with the same record label and the insurance pay off would settle any deficit the record label was dealing with. Too bad there's no way to check their financial information from back then. I did hear that Sam Cook started his own business and now Bobby Fuller wanted to own his masters. It seems to be the common thread. Great job as always. Give Jai a hello from me. Exactly because we all know by now the only reason Ritchie Valens was even on that plane was a last minute coin toss that Waylon Jennings lost. Bobby Fuller had a great sound....love his music! I hope God dealt with those parasitic Del-Fi thugs who killed him. I think many music fans think that Bobby Fuller was only a one hit wonder with the great song "I Fought The Law." However, he has another tune that is really good. People may want to check out his song "Love's Made A Fool Of You" which should've gone higher in the charts. Also, another band who was ripped off by mobsters was Tommy James And The Shondells. Tommy James had his royalties ripped off by the thugs at Roulette Records in New York, and even wrote a book about it.

Jordan last week I failed to mention, the friend I mentioned in my last comment was to have a business meeting with Bobby the day they found him. He and a friend went to Bobby's apartment, knocked on the door several times but there was no answer so they walked back down stairs to the parking lot, the second they got there, there was three other cars were there was only one 5 minutes earlier, one of the 3 was the car they found Bobby in....he also said Bobby's mom was there and two big burley guys were strong arming her. I did not know until I talked with my buddy again about Bobby, and I did not know he was the first to see Bobby in the car before the cops got there. He told me a lot more, but I can't say it here....Here's a shocker, they've known since day one who killed Bobby but have kept it under wraps.

Really good video Jordan. The apartments look pretty nice. I agree I don't think Bobby Fuller commited suicide. As you mentioned there were atleast another 4 musicians rough same time period. The chances of the deaths were not linked and coincidences are extremely low. I watched a documentary on how labels would put life insurances on the bands and they didn't know.

Jim Reece of the BF4 stated in an interview that, after bobby 's death three armed men showed up at his door. Reece and another band member immediately returned to El Paso Texas

Thank you for doing this video. I only just really got into Bobby’s music. My Dad always loved his “I Fought The Law” song. What an absolute tragedy. He was just 23 years young and I’m certain he would’ve had a very successful career. He was gifted! It’s pretty obvious that he was murdered. His death is very similar to my Grandmother’s death in 1980 at just 42… I know she was murdered but her case was just dismissed and immediately classified as a suicide. The LAPD back in those days was so corrupt! RIP Bobby Fuller. Your music lives on! ❤
