@@LightningStripe25 but faster if not midnight sparkle I think that discord is shadowy alicorn turned into a grogar and I think that he lied to mane 5 for me the answer is simple he got rid of all mane 6 villains and he knew all the heroes' weaknesses and after g4 he got rid of them and himself sat on the throne and ruled during this time, it would explain that while in make your Mark showed shadowy alicorn said: it's time to take away what belongs to me and it was about the crystal and in the comic it was discord that took him and tied the mane 5 in the cave under the canterlot it does not seem very suspicious this alicorn is definitely a discord all the facts speak against him and he could turn into alicorn as well as into grogar and he also had a white mane and this unicorn is afraid because he knows what happened that the magic of chaos is powerful and that they all lost with discord

I theorize that this alicorn is actually Twilight in disguise. Perhaps she wants extra control over Equestria through "Friendship" by making the crystals, but to do that, she would have to create an excuse to make the crystals in the first place in order for ponies to not rebel against her actions. This is why Twilight in disguise stirs up disharmony among pony kind. This would explain why Twilight was so focused on creating the crystals rather than pursuing the shadowy alicorn.

i personally think that the chances of it being Twilight are pretty low. Partly because Hasbro said she cant outlive her friends, and also because i just cant see Twilight doing any of this. She wouldnt want to "Take back what is hers" like the Alicorn said. If anything, this may be a corrupted Twilight, but that's still a stretch

maybe, though her motive was always to take control of Equestria. She could also have something against the rest of the hive, for obvious reasons, and removing magic would cause a huge effect with them, so maybe that had something to do with it.

You’re the first one to mention my Flurry’s daughter idea, so thanks! And yeah, I have a feeling that, If the comics are not canon, the Alicorn may be connected to Flurry in some way. And both the name and color pallet fit so well

More than who she is, I'm confused by the logic of her being there now. If she was waiting for magic to return, then she must have waited a very long time. And she has what appears to be a regular unicorn minion. Did she just kidnap that unicorn from Bridlewood? Or were they both in some kind of stasis until the crystals were united? Or maybe magic just hasn't been gone for as long as we think, and everyone forgot about it because of the memory spell that the movie hints at. I guess we'll see.

I was thinking the same thing. How come she's alive and yet all other Alicorns are gone? What's the difference between her and the others? What has she done that made her live this far, yet all the other princesses are gone? As for that unicorn minion, part two will have a little analysis on her that I think you'll enjoy.

@@LightningStripe25 I guess there's also that issue of what happened to the other alicorns. Though we don't know if she's as old as the others, and we don't know if the others died of natural causes (or even if they died at all). Come to think of it, she could be a pony from modern times who found the bell with Argyle and became corrupted by it (or maybe it was her plan all along). Argyle did have a purple feather that could have been from her (the one we assumed was from Twilight). That would give credibility to the theory that she's Sunny's mother, although most people think this would be too cheesy of a twist. And of course, all of this implies that either the comics are not canon, or that Discord's story is a lie. I would prefer for that to be the case, to be honest, since his story doesn't make Twilight and the mane 6 look good at all.

@@yondaime500 in my opinion, a twist can never be too cheesy, and i would find this plot very interesting if she was Sunny's mother. As for the feather, now that i think back to it, it looks way too big to be Twilight's, and the color matches a lot with this new Alicorn. Maybe she manipulated Argyle into "making" Sunny, but he found out her "global domination" plan and escaped, but never stopped believing that there is true good in her. This could maybe work with the Discord comics, if Argyle found the alicorn and was manipulated by her. And knowing Discord, there's no real way to know if he's serious or not. I personally think that, inside, he believes that destroying the crystals would fix everything, and bring peace to Equestria, even if he ends up saying otherwise. As for his story, he could also be lying to trick the new Mane 5, but i don't see a reason for that to be a lie. It's true, his story doesn't make the mane 6 look good, since they basically created a shock collar for the ponies; Anytime that tensions begin to rise, their magic starts to waver, and they're forced to be friends again or they'll lose it. HOWEVER, this IS Discord we're talking about, and he doesn't give us much information as to what exactly the Unicorn did that caused things to "escalate", maybe the Mane 6 didn't have another choice. There's a lot of things we've yet to figure out about this new world, and we're only scratching the surface at this point

that is actually a good question. Maybe Twilight's reign, they try to fight the alicorn and fail, which could have lead to what we see now

No offence but i dont really get why she should be a character we already know..? Why not let her be an entirely new character? Theories about her being Twilight just dont really make sense and they dont even look similar. Flurry Heart also doesnt look like Opaline. Or maybe she is just somehow related to them

No offense taken, I like criticism. As for your question, I always try to take into account every possible option when figuring something out; I try to look at the big picture. Since we barely had any information on her, I wanted to talk both about the possibility of her being an old character as well as her being a character we already know, it’s why there’s two videos, a part one and a part two. Now that we have more information, curtesy of the discord comics, I’m also starting to think of her as a new character. She could be related to someone we know, but unless someone had a filly who grew up super fast, I highly doubt she’ll the daughter of either Twi or Flurry. Misty, however, seems like she might be more connected to the Crystal empire, so that’s something I’m digging into right now

I don’t think flurry heart will turn evil because just think about it we already have one he evil Alcorn but and that’s enough already even fighting non-E for our contest still pretty hard and just think about it for a second fiery hot turning evil I mean it might look like it but but think about her main color and think about the ponies main color come on you all know that the main color is does more of this greenish bluish color than any other and flurry heart well it’s more equal oh and do you really think and look at the glass window it shows flurry heart doing something to the heart and people think that she’s doing good and most of the stain window shows good things happening so flurry heart wouldn’t turn evil
