Nancy Sinatra made it famous, but Angelina at 8 owns it now. Her low register singing for any female would be mind boggling, but her to have perfected its delivery at this age goes far beyond a description of mind boggling.

I loved the 8-year-old sound as it was so innocent and pure. As for the older Angelina I prefer her Las Vegas performance better than this one as she sang in her natural lower register.

They were both good but of course like you said, you can hear the maturity at 16. I wish you would have thrown in the one in Vegas by James Thiel. It was the a combo of age 8 and 18.

Creo que no podría comparar ambas versiones, ya que existen 10 años de diferencia, lo que sí creo es que cada una, en su respectivo tiempo son extraordinarias. La primera, una locura, que una pequeña niña pueda cantar de esa magnifica manera y con tanto sentimiento. Luego, 10 años después, una voz extraordinariamente madura, llena de sentimientos, totalmente atemporal, más allá de su edad.... Saludos

As any Angel will tell you, Angelina sang it the best. She didn't say "Stop". She said "Tusen takk" which is "Thank you very much" in Norwegian. You should check out her version at her Vegas concert earlier this year at age 18. Even richer and fuller.

I give it to the eight-year-old, it was a simpler version but it had all the emotional elements necessary to convey the meaning. Also, there isn't another child of 8 in history who could even come close to performing the song at that level while we could come up with some 16-year-olds among which there could be an argument over who sang it better.
