People said Heath Ledger and Robert Pattinson wouldnt be good for their roles, yet then we got THE best joker, and one of the best batmans. I personally think whoever is cast will work. But i need someone tall, thats all i care about. They need to be around the same height as superman/ David corenswet.

Since James Gunn is not looking for a middles aged Batman actor Tom Bateman - looks like an uncle Bill Skarsgard - just heard this fancast only now Scott Adkins - too short and old Jake Gyllenhaal - too short and old Aaron Taylor Johnson - still short in comparable to David Corenswet and Aaron Pierre Alan Ritchson - too buff for DCU's Batman and old Jensen Ackles - too old Brandon Sklenar - 33 yrs old (will be 36 or 37) when TBATB comes out. Has that Kevin Conroy type or voice. Is 6'2 only a couple of inches away from David's Superman. Can play that damaged, intimidating, playboy Bruce Wayne. He is pretty well built, he's perfect!✅

Since Absolute Batman came out and after replaying the Arkham games, I think Alan Ritchson would be a perfect Batman for the DCU just for his shewr size. He's one if the only actors thay can look David Corenswet in the eye because they're both very tall and Ricthson has the body to be a realistic crime fighter without super powers. Acting wise, pretty much anyone can be Batman and we know that because we've had over half a dozen actors play Batman in films and all.of them couldn't be more different from each other some just make better a Bruce and some make a better Batman.

Thats what I thought originally until I saw some clips of his acting, but I do think he is not a great fancast and would make a good Joker, or even a decent Riddler

I see Bill Skarsgård more as Red Hood. He can fight, he can bring the sad and dark humor to the character and I just saw him in John Wick

Obviously with Matt Reeves having a more grounded Bat verse, who do you think James Gunn would utilize in the potential fantastical DCU Batman; my take is that in Brave and the Bold we would see Batman takedown Slade and Bane which could lead to the secret six

Thats definitley a possibility since it seems like Bane and Deathstroke are getting a film, but I would be slightly dissapointed since I want them to go heads over heels fantastical, with villains like Man-bat and Scarecrow

The Penguin show has been leaning on someone supplying drugs in Arkham and I see a grounded Scarecrow working with hallucinogens, hard drugs and what have you. If anything I would lik an Ethan Bennett (or any other character)Clayface as a fantastical Batman villain. 2. I wanted to ask who do you think the villain would be in Matt Reeves the Batman 2, because there is speculation of the court of owls.

Imo, in Gunn's dcu, Ethan Peck would nail the nuances between the play boy millionaire, the dark knight, and the worlds greatest detective. I also believe he could bring aspects of Kevin Conroy into the performance

Aleksdander Skarsgård. He was the main character In the movie the Northman and the movie the legend of Tarzan. Bill has a more of younger look makes him look more like a boy than a man. While his brother Aleksander looks more mature.

I like Tom Bateman age and physically wise. I don't think his voice is deep enough for batman and it would be very hard for him to adapt to a whole new voice. I've seen his work and none of it showed me an acting range big enough for batman.

Affleck doesn’t want to play Batman anymore. Gunn also confirmed that the DCU’s Batman won’t be middle aged.
