As an Ireland fan, I'd love to see Manie Libbok. Because, though he is great, he lacks the consistency. Though he has improved in some games, he was back to his usual against Glasgow Warriors. I don't blame him for the loss, but he was definitely a factor. There's always a 50/50 chance when he plays for the Boks, that he won't be able to score a pint in a brewery. That's good enough odds for me!😂 If I wanted the Boks to have a better chance of winning I'd be going for Handré Pollard all the way. His experience could be invaluable against a full strength Ireland team that wants to make it 10 wins from 14 and 5 in a row against the Boks. I'll be feeling a lot more uneasy if Pollard is in the team. I admit I don't know that much about the other men and would defer to the local fans that know more than I do. I can only say there is far more respect in Ireland for Pollard than for Libbok.

For everybody crying about Manie's kicking. There is no rule that says the flyhalf has to kick. His distribution is the best and he is a class flyhalf. Let someone else take the kicks.

Sacha should start at 10, Mannie should cover 15 at fullback, and we change Sacha second half for Siya Msuku. Mannie should play a different position for the boks(fullback might be well-suited for him coz he will still be a playmaker). We need a reliable kicker and unfortunately, Mannie has proven himself not to be one on the big moments. I hope our new attack coach can experiment with Mannie at fullback or somewhere else.

manie can play at full back he's our best distributor of the ball and can kick for touch on average 50 to 60m defense shouldn't be an issue because fassi and willie are bad at defense

I'm still not convinced someone should be picked for the boks based on half a season of decent rugby. We've seen too many wonderkids fade away with less than 10 caps to their name. Apart from that Masuku is the same age as Pollard so we're not looking toward the future by picking him. I just don't see a solid reason for Masuku to get the nod over younger 10's who's at least played and excelled in top flight rugby for more than half a season. Remember, the point is to win test matches. If we lose to Wales we lose our No1 ranking and also we lose our first test since the world cup. To me there is only one tried and tested option and that's Manie Libbok. I'd start Faf at 9 and give him kicking duties like during the world cup and leave Manie to do his magic. 9. Faf 10. Manie 11. Mapimpi 12. De Allende 13. Kriel 14. Vd Merwe 15. Fassi

The obsession with givig Manie a chance even at the expense of the team is very upsetting.
