As many Jewish people have said, the Holocaust shouldn't be a justification for a genocide. And while I do believe that Jewish people should have a home, it should not be at the expense of another people. It sucks when people don't recognize that there were people their before the Israeli people. Let's be honest with ourselves though, this is not all on Israel, this has been caused by the US and UK with how the UK drew the lines for Israel and how the US have heavily armed Israel, no longer just for defense, but allowing for a brutal offensive against a defenseless people.

The IHRA definition of Anti-Semitism is a massive problem. Not only was it prominent during the ousting of Jeremy Corbin here in the UK, it is also officially adopted by Germany. It mentions Israel specifically a few times and this is a huge problem. No nation state should be immune to criticism or comparisons. The IHRA definition is (in part) what is allowing Israel to get away (currently) with a genocide. The IHRA definition if adopted widely will (in my opinion anyway) lead to an INCREASE in Anti-Semitism.
