You should check out Everhood. It's not really a rhythm game, in a sense where you have to hit notes, but dodge them from whatever encounter you fight. But each attack (note) the enemy throws corresponds with the music perfectly as if it was charted, and you're only allowed to move your character on a plane that goes left and right. Also the music fuckin bangs and a lot of wacky stuff happens in fights. You'll probably like it even if it's not quite a rhythm game.
