This guy is such an enigma - in a good way. He didn’t quit his job after this, he didn’t hunger for more fame. Actually, I think the phone line stays open, so the person on the other end can hear what happens. I seem to recall hearing that about someone who gave a wrong answer for half a million, and said he was 100% sure (while I was screaming NOOOOOOOOO!!) - he heard when Regis said the answer was wrong.
