Over the past 3 years i've been working on a own Who Wants to be a Millionaire Game Controller. And now.. it's almost finished!!
The software itself is written in Visual Basic.net and is also my VERY FIRST big software developing project.
Questions are in Dutch. Sorry for that. I hope that will not be a big issue. :D
The software itself will be in English.
But what are the available features you ask? Well there are following things in the game..
Control Panel with all the controls for the game.
Host & Contestant Screen.
A 'Television' screen for livestreams maybe. Because why not?
4 standard lifelines:
Ask the Audience (results are completely random)
50:50
Plus One (Not the usual Plus One. This is actually an alternate version of the Phone a Friend lifeline. So when activated, the '+1' person and contestant have max. 30 seconds to discuss)
Switch (Not active by default.)
Questions are coming from a simple Access database.
Classic Millionaire music cues (The best in my opinion hehe).
There is Fastest Finger First. (NETWORK SUPPORTED!). But this feature is not included in the demo video. Maybe i will make a demonstration in the future. So stay tuned. ;)
And maybe more will be added in future builds.
NOTE: At this moment, there is no version available for download (yet). I want to make the software as stable as possible. And it's not quite finished..
Remember, this is my very first big project that i've been working on in the past 3 years. So if you like the concept, feel free to give a like on this video.

UPDATE 2021/09/20: A new version will be released THIS WEEK! This time, the need for MS Access will be gone because the project had a transfer to MS SQL! The link to the full project will be added to the description very shortly.. Stay tuned! ;)

Hello everyone! A quick update from me! First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for supporting and liking this project. There is a lot of suggestions and ideas submitted by you guys. That gives me more inspiration to improve this software. The reason why i'm not very active atm: The last couple of weeks were very hectic (I got a new job and had some private issues here..) and unfortunately I didn't had much free time to fully focus on this project. But good news! I'm back! And I will release a 'beta' version of this software THIS WEEK! Stay tuned for that. ;)

All I get i an error that microsoft.ace.oledb.16.0 provider is not registered Do you got any ideas how to fix this?

I think: 1:You should put the Rave music in(Classic is not enough at this point,even the BankGiro Miljonairs use Rave. 2:Ask the Audience Graph.It can appear on Host&Player Screen,but NOT on the TV one,too simple 3:Should be customiable,from graphic to money tree,lifeline and more Thank you

Hey Marco! amazing software. Any news on when it will be able to run on 64bit office? as of now the software only works on 32 bit, but i have a 64 bit operating software, and office 32 bit doesn't work on there and keeps giving errors, so will there be a version in the future where we can run 64 bit? Thanks!

This is amazing. Well done! I'm curious how you got started with doing this. Did you watch behind the scenes footage to figure out the host's screen (money earned, how many away from million etc.)? Would love to be able to have access when out of development. This is awesome!

Doesn't work with standard 64 bit editions of Microsoft Office. This was created with the 32 bit version of the access driver which isn't compatible. but looks good

There is a test version released today. The software itself is almost fully English. I've only inserted my own questions in Dutch 😉.
