Years ago I sat under the teaching of a young girl that taught us this teaching. How she knew all this is amazing. She was so young and we were all in our thirties at that time. With small kids. I have always been fascinated by Melchizedek. I always wondered, Did Jesus visit Abram why before his time on earth. He had no linage or no beginning or end. So many things point to this. But yet, some things are as though he lived on earth. I don't know. But when I find nuggets in the Bible that thrill me I know I should pay more attention to this story. I couldn't sleep. I picked up my bible and opened it to the psalms, I have found peace in reading scriptures in times of mental tension. I have been led to a new understanding in this doctrine of the Prieshood. This was very impressive in my own mind and I was thinking that it's one of "The deep things of God. " And I am very grateful and excited about these Biblical accounts that are a Testament of who our Lord Jesus Christ is: I can see it more clearly than I was thinking in the past. In Hebrews 7:11 it uses the term "order of Melchizedek" in parallel with "order of Aaron" which sounds like both are Priesthood "orders". Besides Melchizedek himself, there is strong evidence that Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses, also held the Melchizedek priesthood. That would indicated even others held it, and thus it was a priesthood "order". "When Jethro, ****the PRIEST**** of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt; .... And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a BURNT OFFERING and SACRIFICES for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God." --Exodus 18:1,12 Was Jethro really a PRIEST? Did he really have authority from God to offer sacrifices? What priesthood did he hold? The Levitical Priesthood had not been set up yet. Why would Aaron and all the elders of Israel accept Jethro as a priest if he was not a priest of the true God? Melchizedek in Genesis 14:18 is called "the PRIEST of the most high God". Unless we have some reason to believe otherwise, surely Jethro, the PRIEST of Midian, held the same Priesthood that Melchizedek did earlier.

There are 116 additional versus in the "bible dictionary" about Melchizedek in the King James bible in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. See page 730 very near the back. I testify that these words about this great "high priest" are true. He was a type of Christ.

Why as Protestants do we insist on showing false images of God and pretending as if they are real? That is a dangerous form of idolatry. It also reflects bad theology in general. If on the one hand we espouse sola scriptura, then how can we wantonly violate one of the Ten Commandments on a daily basis? Many of you fail to understand the spiritual significance of this. Those who are deluded do not believe that they are deluded. Are you deluded? Do you believe that idolatry is as serious a sin today as it was during biblical times? When you think about Christ and other characters in the Bible with your eyes closed, do you see their images in your mind? Are those images from film, television, print media, and/or the Internet? Are those images true and faithful to the original? Are you saved if you worship the image of the anti-Christ believing that it is the image of Christ? Will Christ forgive you for mistaking the anti-Christ for Him? If you have never pondered or reflected about these basic questions, then you may be deceived because deception operates in darkness. It is unseen and remains invisible. The lack of questioning of certain things that are obvious to others is a sign of deception/delusion. If you cannot even see the issue until someone points it out to you or even if someone points it out to you, then you are deceived/deluded, and deception/delusion can come from the Evil One or from the Lord. If the Lord has sent you a strong delusion, query how you recover from that and become saved. This is not insignificant stuff to the Lord. I would encourage you to take it as seriously as He does. Otherwise, your deception will lead you to places and outcomes that you do not want and never thought were possible. God is not playing; do not play with God.

There are no "images of God", for Jesus Christ is not God, but told the Jews, that "the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his form, and you do not have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the very one whom he sent."(John 5:37, 38; see also John 1:18 that says: "No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.") You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2) your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing loyal love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments."(Ex 20:4-6) A sincere person talks to Jehovah God through private prayer, and not through the use of a rosary, or "prayer beads", which says the same thing over and over again, for Jesus told his Jewish audience: "When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. So do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need even before you ask him."(Matt 6:7, 8) So, at Luke 11, when asked how to pray by one of his disciples, Jesus said: "Whenever you pray, say: ‘Father, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Give us each day our bread according to our daily needs. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is in debt to us; and do not bring us into temptation.’”(Luke 11:2-4) Jesus placed the sanctifying of Jehovah's name as first and foremost, so that worship of him is done "with spirit and truth", and our needs as secondary. Thus, the apostle John closed his first letter, saying: "Little children, guard yourselves from idols", for any other way than "with spirit and truth" is practicing idolatry.(1 John 5:21)

This teaching seem consistent because it's biblical but there's a lot of misinformation in this video. The prophecy about Melchizedek is to testify about the second coming Christ who comes in the last days before the day of judgment to restore our faith that was lost during the dark ages. First without Father or Mother means that he has to be born of unbelieving parents Matthew 12:47 then without genealogy means that he has to be born of a family who's genealogy is not from the nation of Israel Matthew 1:1 also he must bring the definite sign that he's Melchizedek, the bread and wine of the Passover Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28 When Melchizedek appears everyone will recognize him through this sign, the Passover not communion. Then we can say that he has no beginning of days and no end of life meaning he is God Almighty who comes a second time in the appearance of a man with eyes, nose, mouth and ears. He has already come a second time.
