They did a very good job but it's always funny when historians use modern day maps to describe ancient Africa. For example, River Ethiope is in present day Nigeria (not modern Ethiopia), River Niger is in present day Nigeria (not Niger), Benin Kingdom is in Nigeria (not Benin Republic), the list goes on. Ancient Ethiopia encompassed the whole of West & East Africa not just the country that adopted the name.

For your information, River Ethiope is in present day Nigeria (not modern Ethiopia), River Niger is in present day Nigeria (not Niger), Benin Kingdom is in Nigeria (not Benin Republic), the list goes on. What I don't get about all this strife is that when it comes to Egypt and North Africans there is never a middle term like "colored" used ...always only _"Dey wazz Black"_ or _"Dey wazz White"_ ...it's wearisome to the soul.
