Perfect !! I know exactly what you are talking about. I'm a Les Cles d'Or Concierge and it's funny when you feel that people are a little afraid to ask any kind of information, 'cause they think we're there just to seggest luxury services and that's not true. The Concierge exist to help evereyone.

Concierge is my best friend when I am traveling with my client. I am a demanding hotel guest, especially when it's in my clients best interest. they can do most anything . I'ts like a super hero without a cape ... and don’t forget the gratuity, they most certainly deserve ...

Does a concierge get the payment of their guest who makes a reservation after getting a recommendation?

If you're asking about commission, it depends. On some things, yes. On other things no. But at the end of the day, it is about recommending based on the guest's needs and interests.
