I believe all teams could be included, since mathematically they can all get promoted. Last year Doncaster Rovers was flirting with relegation for half the season and then made the playoffs with an amazing run. I'm predicting Leeds and Burnley top 2 and West Brom to win the playoffs.

Although we are top, injuries and suspensions are going to cost us going into December. In my opinion if we had turned those recent 3 draws into wins, I would have been more confident, but Leeds and Sheff United would be my top 2. Can't rule out Middlesbrough either, but quite a few teams are having sporadic wins and losses in their games so far.

It’s hard to call this season I don’t particularly think Sheffield United are good the biggest threat for me is boro they create so many chances just don’t score them but recently seem to have clicked, if Leeds can sort the away form out then they walk the league but Farke struggles when a team low blocks them, Burnley are a poor team with a poor manager I don’t think they get top 6 as for us I do think we go up but through the play offs we’ve got about 5 first team players out for the Millwall game so it’s not ideal

The data suggests Sunderland are overperforming massively across most metrics, the laws of averages say they will have a drop off. Sheff Utd have one of the worse records in the league regards playoffs. Lost all 5 playoff finals and not even scored a goal. Also failed to win their last 7 fa cup semi finals and both both EFL semi finals. Basically Sheff Utd are doomed when it comes to massive one off games. This explains why some SU fans boycott any matches played at Wembley.

@@jamiesteven76 Your comment makes absolutely no sense. Scoring goals is the object of the game, and most teams do it successfully, regardless of league position. We've played 5 teams who have scored more goals than West Brom, so don't they have the right to be in 5th? Conversely the only teams still in single figures for goals conceded are all in the top 5. So all it proves is that if anything, its goals conceeded which have more bearing on league position. Keeping clean sheets on a strong and consistent basis is worthy of merit in its own right. Nothing to do with league position.
