I think this will be healing for his mom, too. She made the decision that was right for her but I am sure she’s struggled with it every day. Maybe this time, being a gestational surrogate, will help her to not only help you, but to make another connection with Abriel. I get it! The process of adopting our first son was so emotional. And witnessing her give birth and then turn around and give her baby to us! It was so amazing and so heartbreaking all at once. So I totally get not really wanted to jump back into the adoption process again. Lucky for us, our sons birth mom reached out to us only 4 months after he was born because she was pregnant again and wanted us to adopt. So we now have 2 baby boys! If that hadn't happen, idk if we would have gone through the whole process again. Our adoption is open too 😊

So happy for everyone involved - prayers to continue for ya'll. We have a beautiful daughter (2)(Adopted) and a biological son (31). Our lives are very fulfilled - ooozes of love. What a wonderful way God works. I still cry when I think how he answered our prayers with our daughter - She was an out of the blue call from a family friend whose daughter (29) had a baby and she knew she could not provide for herself or a baby - No one knew she was pregnant. She immediately said she wanted us to adopt her baby. Thru the years me and my husband would pray "if there is a child that needs a home Lord, our door is always opened" and by golly did the Lord open that door! I know you have alot of love and support around you - family - friends and us total strangers on the internet that will be sending prayers throughout this process. A year after we got married we started trying to have a baby. A year after that we were told that it was highly improbable that we would have our own babies since we both had fertility issues. After 7 years of marriage we had our surprise miracle baby. This was many many years ago and adoption was extremely difficult at that time, and IVF and private or open adoption was only for the wealthy. We were very surprised to find out we were expecting our miracle baby and the day he was born was the best day of our lives. So many couples have fertility issues and now it is talked about more, which is great. There is no one answer for everyone.

I have a neice who was told she'd probably never be able to get pregnant due to liver disease she was born with. She had a liver transplant at 18 yrs old. She and her husband are expecting their 2nd child through surrogacy! Both surrogate mothers are nurses and the children are biologically my neices and her husband. ❤❤❤ Women who would do this for a couple are truly a blessing from God!

I am so excited for you all. You have a beautiful family regardless what the hateful folks say. I have adopted baby and we do the same with her. The mom see her she calls her mom and my daughter understands the situation. She now a teen. Don't get me wrong when they get older they may say things like your not my mom or dad Don't take it personal kids will be kids. At the end of the day with you ALL pulling together surrounding these beautiful children with unconditional love from both families your babies will grow up strong. Passing the love down to generations to generations. One other thing I know your mom wants you to go through the birthing process yourself. But I will tell you I am so grateful for the Biological mom to make an unselfish decision. After carrying her child for 9 months 39 weeks. Those test and treatments are sooooo expensive time consuming and nerve racking. Follow your heart and do the best for you and your husband. No shade to your mom. Love you guys from Ohio can't wait to see the new baby along with Abriel
