Yeah seems a great kid. We're all wired differently and I certainly wouldn't want to label all today's 'youth' as above. Have three sons 19-23 and a 16 year old niece so do I know what they can be like (call me a 'boomer' - I only wish I was!). He's probably benefited from a bit of down to earth exposure in clubs etc and seems naturally sociable. I remember young footballers like Giggs and Scholes got protected from the media and we barely heard them speak for years.

i think it is more that the injuries have been hitting right from the word go this season. I don't think we've once been able to field our "preferred" starting xi, and that's why he's referring to the injuries.
