I’ve made this mistake before with a girl of my dreams, I didn’t want to mess things up or make her think I was “too much” so I played it safe throughout the whole date (didn’t go well) first impressions definitely go a long way. Don’t play it safe guys or gals, be outgoing, but most importantly be yourself on a date, it goes a long way. I love this advice man, I wish I could have seen it before my first date but I’m glad I learned from experience.

Pleeeaaaseee make a video on feeling left out, excluded from a group of people, friends or at work with coworkers. What can you do in that situation, where your coworkers are close and have clicks and kind of leave out. If anyone one has advice love to hear some!

Most of the time it's not intentional, I think. If they have known each other for longer than you know them, maybe start a conversation by bringing snacks (or asking about allergies, because you want to bring snacks) for some random occasion. Like your birthday, or a holyday, or if you're comfortable just say "Hi, I really felt like baking, but I don't want to eat all the cake, do you have any allergies? Because I'd like to bring some to work.". Or of course, if there is some occasion, make a remark, or ask a question, like "What are you going to do during the holidays?" or whatever, really. Or just greet them and ask how they are doing. (Remember, you are not giving them cake to "bribe" them into liking you. It's really just a conversation starter. Don't ever try to buy someone's friendship. That wouldn't be real friendship, even if it seemed to work.) Then if they answer in more than like a word / sentence and you feel like they have the time / are in the mood to talk, just say what your answer to the question would be. I'd say consider the mood and if it's not strongly signifying anything, have a shortish conversation, maybe two to three topics. If you are already talking and you just have a feeling of not being included in the conversation, then either take the initiative to chime in if you think of something to say (be courageous, I'm sure you got it:) ), or if you don't know much about the topic, maybe ask about it. "I heard you talk a lot about ... . I'm unfamiliar with the concept, can you explain what it is about /how you found it / what makes it so intriguing ?" or "How did you decide / come up with the idea to do ...?" Don't force yourself :) If there is just a limited amount you have in common, you could also just limit the times you interact and either don't meet them, or if you are all in the same breakroom at work, maybe draw or find some other (introvert seeming) thing to do. Or of course just tell them how you feel. This could be done in many forms, from stating how you feel & asking if there is something wrong over saying hey, I am not really involved in these topics (in my own time) could you introduce me to it? / ... could we talk about something else, like what is your favourite music? to making a joke about it. (I'd recommend the joke one more for if you know those peoples humours, cause if they don't get it, it might be awkward.) Also: don't be afraid to embarrass yourself. You're gonna life it down and if you can the fun in "Wow, how could this go so wrong, it's so unexpected and unsaveable it's actually amazing / astounding.", then at least you are going to have fun :) If you can laugh about yourself (out of honest astounment / because you find the situation hilarious, NOT because you want to proof that you can laugh about yourself) then the situation had some good. It made you laugh, you enjoyed yourself. So there will never be something terrible. Because no matter what happens, you'll be happier after acting gone wrong or gone right. Good luck out there and find your happiness :)

I want to jump in and say that getting up is polite and people do it everywhere. But, that being said, if however you suffer from social anxiety and panic attacks or you just have a fear of being exposed as am anxious person while you are getting all the symptoms, then most people just try to shut down, freeze and it's not something you can easily control (reptile part of the brain). Unfortunately you end up as rude, detached and so on. Maybe this is not the case for this guy but who knows.

This reminded me terribly how my boyfriend acted when we first met (he was super shy and polite too, so cute). I loved watching this. Jenny did amazing breaking out of the stereotypical trope of men leading which is not easy: Unfortunately, a lot of people are giving Carti a bad rep about his «awkwardness » but I think it’s due to the fact that he wanted to box his personality giving boundaries as well as the fact that there was a camera following them everywhere. This was perfect! And she has the best attitude about her own energy - super conscious lady! The only distortion was that advice at the end from You, Anthony. Activating someone with questions and pulling on thier energy is a very short-term solution. It might get me a nice date but it doesn't magically match my energy. People who want their energy to expand need time to do that and opening up for a few hours in someone's presence is not a way to get an energetic match. When she asked what are the three things he would save, that spanned into an awkward moment because I really think he just went blank after realizing he didn't want to say what immediately, and the awkwardness caused a block, per say? And to make matters worse, neither of them acknowledged the situation (joking about something can lighten most situations) , hence making the moment even more awkward. I don't think he's dry, just nervous/perhaps low energy/chill. Maybe if he was off camera or if they were on a second date, things would be different but there's no way of telling now.
