Glad I could help in this area. It took me years to figure out how I can take who I truly am and map that to my art. Once you get it, it starts to help you see things around you and how you love what you love and how to put that in your paintings.

Thank you so much! This content is incredibly helpful to me. I had started taking screenshots of various things that I loved, but wasn’t sure why I was doing it or what to do with them. I’m going to start my Pinterest page now. I can definitely see where my taste in Art and clothes and life really does encapsulate what I want to show with my own art. I’ve also been noodling heavily on the idea that all art is autobiographical down to each momentary stroke. And what you’re saying totally aligns with this. You are a brilliant artist, teacher, and human being!

Thank you for your comments. I have thought so hard about why I paint what I paint and how to still go down this path to learn what would make my art VERY authentic to me. I think when we paint our voice, it will show in our paintings!!
