I heard that you need a harsh preservative (not natural one) to preserve clay, since is easy for bacteria and yeast to reproduce.
@selkiegal40614 күн бұрын
I’m just hearing that as well. I’m considering making this recipe without any clay and see how it goes.

Made your face cleanser and really like it. I especially love the fact that it's great at removing make up. I use it along with your basic face cream recipe and have no complains. Making another batch of the cleanser today with some additional goodies like aloe vera. Hope it's even more effective. Thank you so much for this video.

Thank you for the formula! I made the cleanser today and I can’t wait to try it tonight. Mine turned out a bit more jelly-like than yours looks in the video. Perhaps the Xantham gum is different in Canada or it’s the small amount of lavender distillate I used in the water percentage
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
Oh that's great, I'm so glad you tried it! Xanthan gum is can be really sensitive to mixing, if it's slightly overmixed it can develop a gloopy or jelly-like consistency. But that shouldn't affect the cleanser performance - well done in making it 😊💚

Hi Elise, can I just ask why you use a metal spoon and whisk when you blend your Kaolin Clay into the water as this is known to cause the clay to lose its negative charge which is what gives it its detoxifying properties?
