Great video. The office I work in has five of the XJ9, but no one truly knows how to use them. This helped a bunch. Thanks!

I've really had my heart set on the new Accademia but haven't been able to find a deal on one as of yet. That said, I just came across the XJ9 for a really good price. It's slightly used, about 4 years old. $1100 cad, do you think it's worth buying this or are there better options for that price or even for a few bucks more?

Hi Lewis, So long as the previous owner performed routine maintenance: the cleaning and descaling cycles then that sounds like a good deal. Always some risk purchasing used equipment. Marc

@@WholelattelovepageHey Marc. I ended up grabbing this machine. I just finished giving it a full cleanup. I'm trying the Orphea beans but not getting "buckets" of crema. Do you happen to know if the calibration marks on the grinder are for the finest grind, coarsest or somewhere in the middle? I'm wondering if this is causing minimal crema.

Just bought an ex-lease for $500, I really hope it's as good as it looks :)

I can’t find a single video that talks about the part next to the scoop on the right side in the J9. Maybe no knows what it’s for? It’s not in the manual. It’s never mentioned...does anyone know what it is?
@Wholelattelovepage4 жыл бұрын
Hi Julian, Lol... It's the super secret water dispensing nozzle. The milk frothing components pull off and you can attach the nozzle in their place for dispensing hot water for tea, Americanos etc. Hope that helps! Marc

Can anyone tell me if the Jura xj9 is better than the sage oracle. I'm wanting to buy a new coffee machine but can't decide
@Wholelattelovepage8 жыл бұрын
Hi Wesley, The Oracle is a semi-auto while the Jura is a super-automatic. Better depends on what you are looking for. For convenience, the Jura is a one-touch machine meaning it can make milk based drinks at the touch of a button. The Oracle requires more effort on part of user but can in the right hands produce a better drink quality.

Can you program different coffee levels for different users so you do not have to go through settings each time, for example I like mine Normal hot, my wife likes it Extra hot? Thanks (great Video)

Hi Ebby, With these machines you can program things like temperature and strength on a per beverage basis.

Hey RN, That's awesome! Thanks for the report. Do the regular maintenance, use good water and/or filter and Jura says average life expectancy for their machines is 9 years. I have a Jura at home and I'm closing in on 10,000 brew cycles with no issues.

Additional Information, I did buy the unit from you along with 5 others. The first Jura 5 started leaking internally( it’s somewhere in storage) and that is when I ordered the Gaggia. It lasted a year and while deployed ordered the JX9. On the next deployment, I ordered a pure espresso machine and a nice grinder and a bunch of accessories, I must in fairness say I have never used them but look great on the coffee bar in the house. Before our 2022 RV trip, I ordered a new brew unit for the gaggia for our 4 month trip and did not fix the issue or more specific, it will not or can’t be bleed due to an air leak somewhere and will not prime (yes I know it’s a manual prime).

Hey Z06, Yep, not much reservoir filling required! Huge used coffee capacity as well. Marc
