I'd love to know more about trade shows! This is the first time I've seen an artist that does anime/comic cons show this side of the business

I’ll be going to another end of next month and I’ll try to add more info in that vlog. A lot more con Artist are getting into wholesale with Faire being available but not a lot go to trade shows cause it’s expensive and the ROI is a gamble and not immediate. I’m still in the trying it out process but so far the experience is like no other. But if you have any specific questions, feel free to let me kno also!

hello, beautiful set up! Can you share your outcome in terms of "buyers" and was it worth it based on the costs/time?

It depends on what you are looking for in returns. But monetarily, both winter shows we make a good amount more than our costs and at least 50% were new clients. The summer one we broke even at the show in the first year but was down the second year. This doesn’t include orders made after the show is over. So in terms of reorders from new clients found at the show, those orders tend to make up and exceed our investments. Hope that helps!

If the walls are not white, 95% of the time they bought the paint and painted it themselves.

Thanks for sharing. How do you even begin the process of applying to be a vendor at these trade shows?

They honestly usually accept everyone. The hurtle people come across is the cost to vend. So essentially you can go into the NY Now website and submit on their forum for exhibitors and they usually respond pretty quickly.

Not a lot honestly maybe 20-30 for one show. But I usually also have postcard mailers that people can grab instead at the shows as well.

Hello I'm attending this years winter event in the incubator program I have a question so you are allowed to put your own shelfs up I got the large table incubator booth but it has a wall

I’m honestly not familiar with the incubator layouts and they tend to change them a lot mostly what is allowed and how they handle the layout. I would strongly encourage you to ask your sales rep this questions. Sometimes you have to email them a few times if they don’t respond right away. But they should have that answer for you.
