Definitely one of the reasons I watched 24/7. You made the show that much more enjoyable. Top bloke, know your stuff and glad you’re putting things into perspective. 👍🇦🇺

Na, be good to see Rod do what he wants without the hype of 24/7. Love 24/7 for the content and insanely, but how many people on here would put their daily runner through what they do.

Rocket, you are and will be missed on 4W24/7 as you made the episodes even better! With your bubbly personality, and when in doubt peddle out. You have to do what’s right for you, your family and the businesses. Congrats, on branching out your channel, and taking it to the next level. Can’t wait to see where it goes! I think it would be great to see you and Stu-dog, out in your own rigs along with some of your friends, the boys out of the shop, industry parts and doing some collaboration with other KZbin channels! Good luck, with the future endeavours!! 🍻

I love your channel Rod. As you said, even if you wanted to have the occasional overnight trips for us to follow, it would resonate with us viewers. Many of us are only able to get away on the weekends between the daily Monday to Friday work grind. And seeing trips from dinkum blokes like you would be inspiring to get us into the bush.

Big ups to you Rod. As someone who is a mechanic and who owned his own shop, I fully understand where you are coming from. Family and your business comes first. Can't wait to see where you go with your channel. I will keep following you. Would be great to see you and Stu together, could be dangerous though🤣🤣 You will be missed from 24/7, I'm sure. Best of luck, keep doing what you are doing.

Well, damn. I respect the decision but my favorite episodes on 24/7 always had you in them. I really like the fact that you didn't have anything bad to say about the boys, you kept it classy which is an awesome way to handle it. I will say that the last episode you did with the camper was the toughest one I have seen. Fun to watch but I wouldn't have wanted to be on that trip. Look forward to your videos too, keep it up Rocket!

Thanks for letting us know, as a business owner I agree with you that you can't leave your shop and not have a backlog when you get back. You don't have to worry about the followers of your channel, we love you and your content, and I also love 4wd24/7. Just do your own thing and build your own brand. I'd like to see Ronnie Dahl on one of your videos. He's planning to have either his 79 or Troopy on the East coast.
@davidmadej59552 жыл бұрын
I enjoy going off the beaten path. My main problem was a lack of knowledge which is why I enjoy you and 4wd action/24/7 now. It has been a few years since I first started watching and got into 4x4 vehicles. Not mainly for the vehicles but the ground clearance and ease out of living plus the tracks I’ve seen you and the crew tackle do make me want to get one. I have extensive knowledge on the environment but mostly on the northern temperate zone. It is what I have my masters degree in (environmental engineering). I really loved the Kimberly episode that showed the different trees. My favorite is still the bird tree I think. A truck just makes the trip comfortable I think which is why I always enjoy yours and Grahams inputs. The soap trick was genius I think. So I would enjoy those types knowledge as well as truck or suv knowledge. I do enjoy the track videos and I can see why or how someone would justify a truck or suv purchase to hit the tracks.
@WholesaleAutomatics2 жыл бұрын
The bird tree was amazing! You need to see it for your self if you ever get the chance.

As a change you could very well (given they aren't busy of course) actually invite Shauno and/or Graham onto your show for something different, as in the show could be done your way, for something different but seriously the whole thing of your own show is a good idea Rod.
@rshutterbug472 жыл бұрын
For sure you were one of our favorites. And I think it would be pretty neat to show up at the tale end of their runs once in awhile. Even as a surprise and I would ask Shawn, Graham, and Jock to visit you sometime. Wish you all the luck in the world. What's up in the US and where at? We'll be watching.
@andrewhurstcars2 жыл бұрын
Nice channel Rod. If you're inviting people in the 4wd industry along for trips, then you could use the 4wd24/7 business model back on them and charge them to attend. As you paid to go on their channel, then they can do the same in return for you.

Couple things mate #1 I’m from nz and I’m an apprentice mechanic, I’d love to come over to Aussie and work for someone like you, get the real deal and learn alot #2 sometime life’s gets in the way. 10 months to put a car back together, so what. It happens. I’ve been working on my car for 2 years now after my accident. It’s still not even close because if had a lot going on #3 myself and probably a majority of your viewers love this sort of thing, a sit down, real deal yarn of what’s up. And all the videos of the build you put up Seeing you in the 24/7 show, I always know it’ll be a great episode and I’ve enjoyed watching the last couple years. Can’t wait to see the big 79 back on the tracks, big Channel or not. Always a delight. You do what’s best for you and the views will follow. Your honesty is awesome and we thank you for the content
