imo japanese sweet potatos (purple/brown exterior, yellow/beige interior) make the best fries! i even love slicing them into thin rounds with a mandolin to make chips. these potatos are the best for baking crispy things- so dense, sweet and not watery at all!

Nutrients get into the water from it sitting in the hot water for a few minutes?
@chukanwobodo4 жыл бұрын
@@youmakemehappy7 Water-soluble nutrients, such as vitamin C and certain B vitamins, can leach out into the water. The hotter the water, the faster the rate of degradation and leaching out. Also, the thinner or smaller the food product(s), the higher the surface area that comes in contact with water, and the higher the rate of oxidation and nutrient loss. Nevertheless, you can normally tell that nutrients have been lost because the water tastes, looks, or smells different.

I'm italian and i love bruschetta!♡ reminds me my country! Try also oregano with the tomato mix for bruschetta! I love how the tomato and the oregano tastes combine! I also cut cherry tomatoes in half, add olive oil, salt and oregano, mix a bit and bake in the oven for 20 minutes 200°C.. if you try to make this way, try to eat as a bruschetta too with classic hummus, baked tomatoes and on top fresh basil or some seeds that are always good! Sending love from South Korea!

These all look so good! You’ve really changed my life, I struggled with bulimia for the longest time and restricted eating (which led to binging) and now I eat way less fast food, I eat way more whole foods and most importantly, I eat enough between meals and snacks that I’m not ravenous and only thinking about food all day. I didn’t realize how much better my eating habits were until my coworkers were talking about eating habits and they said I ate the healthiest! Gonna make all these this week 🤤 keep up the amazing work ❤️

The presentation of the food makes it so much more delicious 😍 absolutely love the utensils used too. It just gives a very earthly vibe to the viewers. Suggestion: you could try using silicone baking sheets instead of using parchment paper. It does the same job and it is reusable.. but of course some dishes require parchment paper instead of silicone sheets.

let me tell my story, i always felt very insecure about my weight and body ever since i was a young teen, i had anorexia for almost a year and i was depressed, anxious, schizophrenic, and i had ptsd (i still have these things) after years of treatment going in and out of mental hospitals and residentials, i still couldn’t figure out the problem, one thing that was contributing to my drop in mental health was the food i was eating, hot chips with high levels of sodium, processed meat, candy, dairy, greasy foods with tons of fat and cholesterol, all of it was a hig factor in my mental health, and i had no clue, i soon got on birth control as my periods were getting out of hand and i gained tons of unwanted weight, then i came to my 3rd residential (where i am now) and i met 2 people who were vegans they showed me all about their lifestyle (mind you they looked and felt great in their bodies!) and i wanted to be just like them, so i started as a vegetarian strictly cutting out meat, poultry, and fish and i started to do healthy workouts, i’ve never felt better in my life, this is to inspire other people that with enough self motivation and persistence you can reach the goals you want to.

Such a beautiful channel. So, a colleague was telling us her experience of becoming vegan. She and her partner lives with her parents. She used to have constant colds and malaise and her partner inflammations around his spine. She became vegan and she hasn’t been sick since she began 15 mths ago - not even a sniffle. Her partner was going to see a chiro for his back but he has no pain now. And the whole family has followed suit and they’ve all lost significant weight so she’s inspired a few of us to give veganism a go!

All YUM recipes, Thank you for these! I am GFDF, Soy/Nut/Legume Free tho, so My amendments: 1) Orange Oat Bars: I cannot do almonds. pecans, walnuts or peanuts. So gonna sub cashews or pumpkin seeds vs Pecans. Also gonna use cashew vs almonds.Incorporating pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, too. Don't have any dried aprocots. But I do have a bag of dried berry blends so will use that. Using Sunbutter, Cashew butter or Tahini vs PB. Gotta be GF and soy-free too. So gonna sub soy and the edamame with something else, Chickpeas chips vs edamame chips. Will sub Coconut Secret brand of Coconut Aminos vs Soy Sauce.

I live in Rio de Janeiro, so some of these foods in your videos are quite hard to find and a bit expensive. But Brazilians are resilient and always find a way to thrive! If possible, I'd like to ask for some videos teaching how to make high-protein meals for people with hypothyroidism (I loved the last one!! But almost every option had soy derivatives.) and how to make homemade plant-based milk with cheap, but still nutritionous ingredients.
