Cyan Dino and i promise u they are i tried a couple personally my favorite was her lasagna soup and her burrito bowl i meal prepped for a week and decided to try those two out for lunch and dinner and even my family who is "anti" veganism loved it SUPER TASTEFUL super colorful and very healthy also very filling 😄 YOU SHOULD FOR SURE TRY IT u wont be disappointed
@BrunetteGiant5 жыл бұрын
JILLyBean 95 How could someone be “anti” veganism? It must be just from whatever stigma they think is around it, and not veganism as an idea. I’m also not vegan (probably will eventually), but like “you don’t eat meat or dairy for health, environmental or ethical reasons? LOOOOOSERRRR” lol no, like no. You can’t be anti-fruits and vegetables. That makes no sense lmao
@theblueclue38435 жыл бұрын
Geneva lmao it’s irrational right? my parents are anti-vegan in the sense that they believe you *must* eat meat/animal products in every meal or else you will be unhealthy despite all the evidence that suggests otherwise. It’s pretty crazy...
@sreelathaganesh22944 жыл бұрын
Try being a vegetarian, it’s slightly easier (I guess...at least for me it is )
@lynnfara19124 жыл бұрын
@@theblueclue3843 so insane. It's the same in my family, they make fun of vegans and vegan alternatives and my sis and I are just sitting there, thinking 'damn y'all so stupid, thanks for doing nothing for our future'. Eating (too much) meat and animal products in general has such an impact on our planet and future, how can people say veganism is shit?

I am trying really hard to transition to a plant based diet, Which is not easy for a hardcore meat loving south indian. But you inspire me everyday And I've made so much progress. Thank you. ❤️

I am the same. But I stopped trying. Now I'm fexitarian. Most of my days are plant based, but sometime I eat meat or dairy but I don't punish myself just eat what is good my body and soul :)

Make sure you include healthy fat (avocado, nuts, nut butter), and protein (pulses, legumes, nuts/ nut butter, seeds, edamame, tofu, plant-based milk) in every meal - it will keep you satiated for longer. And jazz meals up with herbs, spices, and sauces, to keep things interesting. I am vegetarian 95% of the time, and generally have salads for lunch, and Buddha bowls for dinner. Buddha bowls are awesome! You can put a Thai/ Mexican/ Italian spin on it, throw whatever veggies you have on top, plus legumes (eg: chickpeas) + grains (eg: rice) make a complete protein. Just vary the toppings, and the legumes + grains combo, and you won't get bored. Good luck!
@Alina-fp1gx5 жыл бұрын
Michelle Cheang thanks, you gave me a full grocery list! what milk do you personally like (if you have vegan milk that is) Buddha Bowls sound sick, I’ll try one out thanks 💞🤛
@MC-ko2mx5 жыл бұрын
Glad you found the info useful! I drink calcium-fortified soy milk, as it's more nutritionally-dense than other plant milks (eg: almond or rice milks). Do remember to gradually up your intake of pulses/ legumes, as well as cruciferous veggies (eg: broccoli), as it can be tough on your digestive system to do too much at once. I started off having overnight oats for breakfast, and a large salad for lunch, then gradually 'vegetarianising' my dinners. No hard and fast rules with going vegan, so do what you body tells you/ what you're comfortable with. It doesn't have to be all or nothing - every plant-based meal is a step in the right direction. Lastly, do look up supplements - I believe PUL talks about the importance of taking supplements if you are going vegan.

OMG. I made the brownie bites (energy balls). They were so heavenly. Like seriously Soo good. I have to add tho, the wall nuts kinda tasted odd. I mean i liked the taste but my family members disagree. So to anyone who makes it, swap the walnuts for almonds if u don’t like the general taste of walnuts.
