@@KermaHillway It is still a relatively recent change in my mind, but I'm certain that it's a thing. Mobs _can_ still take fall damage from the bouncing , but they don't accumulate it over time like they used to.

Note for next time: fly by a lavafall and try to make the strider go through with Phil doesn't. (shouldn't anyway, up to him if he wants a hot bath) Hitting lava from above gives fall damage but not from the side and then being in lava slow down the strider a lot which *should* snap the lead

It says "whoops" and I dunno if this is a culture barrier thing so lemme explain. In English communities when we do something by accident we say "whoops". Since Philza accidentally k×lled the Strider by thinking lava works just like water? It was a "whoops" kinda situation. Btw, in case you are also confused on what clickbait means? Here ya go/POS (POS = Positive intentions) Clickbait it typically a title/thumbnails made to look extremely appealing and advertises a certain intention for what the video contains but is usually a deception & not at all what the viewer was advertised. Example: "101 puppies prank!" And you click the thumbnail of a woman looking angry/shocked to see a bunch of dogs. Only to see the 101 dalmations movie & the woman was a stock photo image. Or it may have only a SINGULAR dog in the video to surprise the woman with and NOT 101 puppies as promised. The big reveal is it has patches of fur on its coat that looked like a 101. But the Philza video only had "whoops" & showing him k×lling a creature he was trying to save on accident by not understanding how lava works. Therefore being truthful while also not promising anything in particular. So I hope that helps any cultural barriers that might have happened since I know we have more viewers thanks to the now ended QSMP. Again! Hope this helps! 👍🏻✨

@@jonahcole9223 The reason is going through to edit the streams down for highlights takes hours upon hours and he prefers just streaming without the added weight of editing. He streams three times a week, usually over four hours each, so it's a lot of work to then go through and edit down. He's not interested in hiring an editor, at least partially because he doesn't think he could afford to pay them well enough. So the stream VODs are the best place to catch up on his series.
