Although I don't agree, thinking about all the amazing indie brands out there, many of which have inspired Cristine in the nail polish world, I do think she's killing it, especially in the more mainstream/boutique scene.

@@I05-e4s Cris was definitely my starting point. I bought a couple FUN lacquer polishes back in the day because of Cris. And all the twinkled t powders. Then nothing until Cris started HT. I have ever HT polish. Then Existential Crisis broke me. I craved more magical polishes like that. I made my first indie purchase in Jan. Found the collabs like polish pickup, sparkle and shine, fandom flakies, polished gamers box, hella handmade creations etc in April, and it's been down a huge rabbit hole. HUGE. And we'll I have no idea how much I've spent but I've got 65 polishes on the way to me that I've already paid for, another $150-$200 order tonight, another 15+ polish order on the 28th, another $150 order I've already planned out, and 2 or 3 orders of $40-$80 just this month. This has been a beyond chaotic month though. Sept/Oct seems to be wild months for the indie scene. All this because Existential Crisis.

I’m currently applying “I’m Live” from the Julien x Holo Taco collection and I can’t help but notice how similar “Resting Witch Face” seems to be to it! I’m _sure_ there are some differences in the shade, but even so, to anyone who _doesn’t_ have “I’m Live”, you should *absolutely* pick up “Resting Witch Face” as it’s a *gorgeous,* unique color that isn’t too “out there”. LOL. (Obviously this all depends on my hypothesis of them being _extremely_ similar shades being true! Which I’m pretty darn confident in!!) EDIT: I just got to the comparison (Why am I so impatient?! I *knew* this part would be coming up!) and I was right! “I’m Live” just looks to be a little bit darker. To me, “Resting Witch Face” looks to be even prettier! I just may have to pick it up too!! LOL.

Unfortunately it's really the taxes and duties not shipping costs (once you get past the free shipping threshold) that do it in. Which is more the government's purview... im not sure she can really do anything unless the UK lowers the percentage for taxes and duties on nail polish coming in the country.

Not really, depends of the region, for example for german people it is. In general violet is call like this because the flower and it is in the middle between red/pink and blue. The subtone is blueish for the mayority of the world.
