i recieved one of these for my birthday or christmas in the early 2000's and i remember the instructions saying you needed to power them up by scanning the cards at the start, which was weird to me as mine only came with a single 'gold card'. i had a friend and cousin who owned one but i dont recall us ever battling them

So this video randomly showed up in my recommended feed today and I swear to God that all of like, 5 days ago, I was telling my wife about how one Christmas when I was a kid, all I wanted was a Rumble Robot. And when I finally got one, I played with it like twice because nobody else had one and I never touched it again. I could not remember the name of the toy so this video helped with that. Thanks for the incredibly random, conveniently timed dose of nostalgia.

Has anyone tried reverse engineering the 39 barcodes that would have been on those cards to see what they do? Scan the existing cards in a basic barcode reader, and look for patterns in the data stored. That way, if there's a pattern, you can simply generate the barcodes that are missing from the pattern to test.
