why is a 250 lowered so much? the whole point of that bike is the handling, which you ruin with your mods

It didn't affect the performance of the bike at all. We lowered it because of my wife being so short and she wanted to be able to touch with her feet almost flat footed. The handling is still the same since only the bottom part of the shock was lowered. The kit was not a traditional dog bones kit, which puts pressure on the spring. Performance is 💯

How's the vibration like on the highway?

It really isn't that bad compared to the bigger R1 I have.

a 250 is great to start on if you have money for 2 bikes. Why not a 125? Why not a 75. Why not start em out on a bicycle.

Not sure if a 125cc, a 75cc, or a bicycle can get on an interstate safely and keep up with traffic, but I could be wrong. Why would you need 2 bikes if you are learning on 1?

In the video he explained how the bike held it's worth even with the miles put on it, so if you have the money for a 600 in the start, then buy the 250 to learn, sell the 250, then finally buy the 600 once you have your fundamentals learned

They may hold value, but they don't sell fast. I have been watching guys trying to get out from under 400's all summer. Nice clean bikes... 250's are even worse. Motorcycles are dangerous, people should learn to control the throttle. I would have been pissed to get a 250 instead of a 650. Buy the 250 you don't want now, and have it for 2 years before having to sell it at a loss, all while having a 250. no thanks. It is virtue signaling. @@solarmonke5727
