Great video 👍 For people complaining about Gurkha, yes it might have failed on this trail, but it works better than the others on bad roads due to stiffer suspension. You need to decide on how often you are going to go for such trails vs how often you gonna go on bad roads.

@@tanmaysinha9632 because these are extreme trails. There will be many trails which all three of these will make easily through, where xuv700 will get stuck easily. And for many people having that capability to wade out of those tricky situations is important. Xuv is not from this same league.

All three are indeed great vehicles for overlanding. For folk who just want to dwell on such trails, probably a rainforest challenge spec Gypsy will be more effective…but even that can get stuck in deep slush pond. Another day another trail…even the Thar can get stuck. Not impossible to break those front driveshafts… Nothing is infallible. Live the adventure with what you have on hand !

Bilkul sahi baat.... Jabardasti karoge to problem aayegi.. Upper se gaddi chalane wale per bhi depend karta hai... Means path ko driver kis angle se deal kar raha hai.. Dinesh bhai ek samjhdaar traveller hain.. Achi rai bhi dete hain per yeh koi zaruri nahi k ek achha traveller ek achha offroader bhi ho... I like dinesh bhai's video.. Apke efforts iss video mein kamaal ke dikh rahe hain.. Bas angle samjhne mein 1% ki kammi thi.. Jo kissi mein bhi ho sakti hai... I love that, Gurkha and every off road vehicle..

The spotter should guide the driver calling for steering to the driver side and the passenger side , rather than right and left . Diver side and passenger side with be the same for the driver and the spotter , the driver is right side and passenger if left side

Thar is a wonderful gaddi... Kissi se dushmani nikalni ho to usse thar ki back seat per bithado... Thar bahut achhi gaddi hai... Sirf 2 bando ke liye... Zara apne parivaar ko lekar jao lambi yatra per..... Saara safar zahar se bhi kadwa na ho gya.... Bhai har gaddi ki apni ahemiyat hai....so enjoy your vehicle....

Great stuff. But what i think is you need suspension and bigger tires. Try to disconnect your sway bar so your tire can be on ground.

I have been following this off-roading scene in india from last 5 years when only old thar had MLD and only Anshuman Bishnoi sir was posting serious off-roading video, that time I got to know about gurkha . I am mechanical engineer and I am enthusiasts so i have enough knowledge on how these vehicles work and why thar can outperform gurkha, i have said this many time but the problem was that 5 years back this segment was not under that much debate because gurkha was nothing back then, thar was undesputed king because people didn't know about gurkha. New thar made a segment for every off-roading vehicle because of which people got to know about gurkha. But I knew it way before that thar is way better off-road than Gurkha simply because of the engine and suspension. Solid axel at the rear of the thar makes it way more capable even in 4x2.

Thar is better performing here, obviously. Gurkha has own issues, but still does the job. V cross is brilliant too. Overall, you're churning out the best of both Thar and Gurkha.

As a both Gurkha and Thar owner I can say that my use cases for both are different. I admire Gurkha equally well as I do my new and earlier gen Thars for their positives. Similarly, I dislike bad points about these vehicles as well. DC I think it's time you stop sitting on the fence as it's clear that you are pro-Thar and very critical of Gurkha.

Do you know how many people bought this vehicle after seeing reviews which didn’t highlight these shortcomings and just said “it is hardcore” atleast 5 times in the video? I always praised its plus points which I found and shared bad points too. This video is not critical at all, these are just observations. I am just experiencing my vehicle and sharing my thoughts. Same I did with Thar too.

Great Stuff... ❤️❤️ You should have brought your Thar as well to put it in the testing mode along with other 3 vehicles. As of date your Thar is a comfortable drive with ARCs. So could have given a lot more perspective with the changed suspension (I would not say upgraded, as mods should be done as per own taste)... 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Thar will go on trip now, so can’t abuse that before I come back. These offroad weekends are too harsh on these vehicles. Even Gurkha need some work now.

It’s time DCV should review the new ISUZU D-Max 3.0L as well as the 1.9L which is there in Thailand and other countries(Just like the old days of Bike reviews in Thailand). ISUZU needs some pressure from the Indian consumers as we still get the old generation D-Max.

It is way more comfortable, have lot of space and capable enough for travel on bad sections. Don’t make these dune jumps change your mind if you are never going to do it.

You don’t need bigger rim, you can put bigger tires on 16 inch rims too which can be 33 inch in size. Bigger the rim, lower the profile of tire, worse it is Offroad. The wheel arches are too small on this vehicle, need lot of work to make it capable to take anything bigger than 30.5 inches.

From a offroader perspective having manual control over everything is beneficial. Mahindra Thar is impractical. Its interior space is really low. Gurkha is more practical. Has more luggage space.

@@naughtyUphillboyyes in those condition torque is more important but again thar has better torque figures 300Nm vs 250Nm what I’m trying to emphasise is those power figures these aren’t adequate to do a better off road than thar, Plus suspension travel is also poor in Gurkha. Key point- Power matters when vehicle is in 4H. That time your engine uses all the range which it has.

Follow Prashant adventures and you will get to know what is Gurkha capable of. Thar is just a toy for newbies, who don't know what to do on trails and ruts. they just accelerate and rest thar does the job. Not much effort in driving thar.

No offence but Gurkha needs rugged drivers who can push it, and thar is just a toy anybody can drive, I saw a KZbin video(channel name - Prashant adventures) where Gurkha towed V-Cross in Loaser Spiti on incline hair pin bends. Towing is a different thing all together. I am sure Gurkha can tow better due to its overall gearing and setup robustness. But technical Off-roading is something else where many factors come into play like power buildup speed, underbody clearance and suspension travel along with help like auto or manual lockers.

Bhaii kyuu sell karnaa ?? Kiyaa burai hein gurkha mein? It can't perform well on such critical obstacles due to its less travelling suspension but this suspension have a plus point it gives more pleasurable ride quality than Mahindra thar, and Gurkha feels more stable and planted in highways in highspeed, space is good, it can do all the basic offroadings in any adventurous trip so what is the reason behind you are asking him to sell his Gurkha??? ........aur hum normal log agar koi gurkha kharidenge bhi toh bhi hum aise offroading thorina karte hein daily life mein😂😂 we would rather go for long trips , explore new places with Gurkha 🔥 for which this vehicle is made

@@bidyutjunior59 90-105 is the cruising speed of Gurkha and at this speed gurkha feels so stable.....i have even drive the Mahindra thar for so many times and trust me above 100 thar doesnot feel stable on highways , these are off-roading touring vehicle , they are not made for highspeed

It lifts up too high due to stiff and less flexible suspension and drops hard. Atleast this is not what it is made for. Awesome comfortable travel companion though.

It’s not a big problem but yes sometimes it doesn’t engage even after pulling the lever, so need to try multiple times. Some other user also reported this l.
