It's good that Affan doesn't give too many interviews. I really mean that as a compliment...if he was too 'visible' off-screen it wouldn't be a pleasure listening to him. He is really sorted and such a gentleman. To truly know oneself and not lose oneself in the business of showbiz is a enormous feat per se which he has achieved. I'm glad he kept the matter of his Deen to himself..that is only between one and their Rabb and having that discernment is admirable. Respect! I'm reminded of a quote (paraphrased): the loudest mind often belong to quiet people and it doesn't mean they have nothing to say, they just prefer to have an internal dialog most of the time.

For me, Zahid Ahmed, Bilal Abbas and Wahaj Ali are much better actors than Affan Waheed. But there is this ineffable serenity that characterizes Affan, something that makes him stand out. I had seen him in Dastaan but what made me a huge Affan Waheed fan was his drama Iltija (I am still angry with him for not mentioning Iltija in his list of favorites)....at that point of time, he came for a chit chat in Samina Peerzada's show and I was mesmerized by his stances on various issues. Loved his empathy and respected him immensely for his modesty. At that point, I thought it was a fresh craze that is why I am feeling this way but even after all these years, tonight I saw him being interviewed by Aamna and that same state of enchantment took me over (I had skipped the interview with Hira Mani as I am not a huge fan of hers at all). His eloquence, his voice, his nonchalance make him so endearing to encounter. And then complementing these qualities is the beauty of his perspective. I loved how without going all philosophical, he gave us plenty of food for thought, such profound insights. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview. p.s. LOL at some points, I felt as if Affan was flirting with Aamna.....hahahaha

My first crush...I have a crush on him since his drama "Ladoon mein pali" (2014)...I met him in June 2017 during the shoot of his drama "Mehrabaan" in Murree ...I went to take a picture with him and he said "Hi" I lost all of my senses ...He pleasantly asked me if i wanted a selfie with him😊😊He was so nice to me and my family ...I can't explain😍😍 And still his kindness , decent personality , acting and everyting else make me fall for him again and again.💕❤

Of course i remember him from Dastaan as Fawad Khan's friend. Loved him there. But for me, Affan's BEST installment so far was Sameer from Iltija where he plays the father of 2 disabled children. His character was full of flaws but Affan's portrayal was impeccable. Also this might come off as a surprise or even a case of offence to Affan-Hira couple fans, but the chemistry that Affan shared with Tooba Siddiqi in Iltija was superb! So hope that they come together in some really good project.

I remember there is a popular stationary market in Lahore Cantt called P.A.F market and Affan used to be there so many times with some of his friends.
