Trying to run a business anywhere in Africa while you still have your 9 to 5 in abroad is near impossible. You'll need to move there which means you need to spend at least a year just to understand the market. Don't start a family yet in abroad if you want to pursue that dream

Another Great HOF episode, Great Guest, shout out to the team. I love how the commentary has evolved from (all due respect) pandering years ago, into truth and reality of what's on the ground in Uganda. I recently had a young man ask me what I thought of him focusing on economics in his studies. I told him it was a waste of time in Uganda because what math equation is he going to apply to the corruption and backwardness in business here and he would do better studying human relations in regards to economics in Uganda. He appeared to understand what I was saying and was appreciative. It is beyond time to be honest with these young people and stop misleading them as to how things really are here.

Afterwords meet with o b iden Read *** Biden’s State Department most prominently - to push the LGBT agenda and abortion overseas. While some countries are buckling, many others are taking the opposite approach. ….. A Washington Post editorial in April, for example, noted that Africa appears to be moving away from the West on matters of sexuality: “Of the 64 or so countries that still criminalize same-sex relationships, at least half - at least 32 by most counts - are in Africa. While generally the world is moving toward more acceptance on LGBT rights, Africa forms a near-unanimous block of intolerance. A core group of African states nearly derailed the appointment and renewal of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s independent expert on sexual orientation and gender identity.”

The average African/black person in the diaspora coming to Africa is there to retire early and have a lied back, stressfree lifestyle not come their and work harder than they were doing in the west. It is not the responsibility of those in the diaspora to come and develop African countries, it's the government's responsibility.

How do you explain Warren Buffet?
@anthonyclementson96586 ай бұрын
Just like what I said. Buffet didn't stick to buying and selling stock when he made it big. He diversified his portfolio. He actually owns companies that are in the food & beverage, insurance, aviation, banking and the energy industry etc. You should not diversify if you're still hands on in your business daily operations. You will just burn yourself out.

@@Kenganda Oshay yes you can get spread too thin as they like to say in business. In that sense i agree with you to put your energy and resources in one area and master it. However, I can understand why some people may feel putting all your eggs in one basket is too risky. Even if you look at some of the successful companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc they constantly buying companies to improve profits. As for your Warren Buffett example, he is an investor not in one but many companies. In fact, they own outright a lot of business in different sectors of the economy. In finance there teach you if you are to invest on the stock market then spread your money in at least 10 companies - diversification. The logic is if one company tanks you stand to lose 10% of you money instead of 100%. When auto companies and other companies tanked people who had 100% invested in the company they worked lost it all compared to now where your pension or 401K is invested in multiple stocks, funds etc
