FURTHER Explanation provided by INTOPRELISED: If anybody wants a more accurate answer to how it got patched, pretty much Horion and most other hack client that have a .give used something called InventoryActions to spawn in the items. And for each inventory action you do you need something called a sourcetype, the source type that was used for all this time was "NonImplementedFeatureTODO". This allowed the client to spawn in the items, what mojang did is add a check to the server that sees if you are allowed to use NonImplementedFeatureTODO as your source type. And it is no, the way it works on your own worlds is they would force it to be yes, but you cant do that on realms or other worlds because the server decides and you cant force it to true.

might be a bypass i found out if your using horion then if u do no packet and blink then do .nbt or any other item cmd then STAY on the item and turn them off u can open ur inv and chests without losing it (if you have any ideas on how we might be able to bypass further pls tell me)

Imagine there was a way to patch .give by replacing item drops close to you or by assigning a certain entity to have a specific drop.

If I knew exactly how the old* .give commands worked and why they no longer work/ what changed I might be able to find a workaround

Does anyone know if the item commands will ever come back to servers and what not. I just recently got horion and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it (ethically..?)
