Why do you think that? The trouble Marc seems to be referring to is the bike connecting to the local cellular network so that he can monitor the charging remotely when not in bluetooth range. Given the wide variety of network standards worldwide, I'm not sure Zero can obtain a module that will work with every network in every country. And given that there are many countries in which they don't sell their bikes, I don't think it would even be economical for them to even try to find or create something that would connect in every country.
@chrislamerican298911 ай бұрын
@@j_k9643 Seriously because I have an app that requires an account to access their servers on MY electric motorcycle,this it sounds like to me that zero do the same thing so basically they (being zero) know marcs account and can track him wherever he is in the world all he has to do is connect to the internet and voila also they can and appears to disable his account if they choose, the mere fact that he has contacted them to ask for support they know already, also marc alludes to the fact that zero motorcycles watch his videos too capice

I completely understand this being exhausting for you. However, I wonder how you look on things in some months, years from now. I don't know much about Pakistan. I skimmed through the german Wikipedia and read the 'Reisehinweise für Pakistan' from the Swiss Government. Well - besides being exhausted I think I would be happy to get protection. Wish you much endurance and patience for the rest of Pacistan - stay safe.

How was it in Lahore? I heard on the news that Lahore has major problems with smog. They even make rain to get rid of the smog. Safe travels of course, I hope you can still enjoy Pakistan

I am from India. I knew things are bad in Pakistan. But always thought our media may be going overboard with the negativity and may be things are not as bad as it is portrayed in here. But seeing these videos I get so much of clarity. If a country need to to escort and provide security to every foreigners passing through their country, this is a massive security failure. It is almost Orwellian stuff. I am not sure whether they are providing you with security or just keeping an eye on you?

really nice to see you laugh to those scary situations stay safe and be careful with drivers.. i think accident risk is definitely higher than any "intelligence agencies" ;) but yea i wish you joy during your journey these days will be funny memories after its over🤍✌

I don't understand the argument of "you need a police escort because there's people that want to hurt you to ruin the reputatioin of the country" . Doesn't the escort make you much more visible to those organizations? That's like going around announcing "Here are the foreigners you might want to hurt"

Weiterhin gute Fahrt.

Yep, as I've written elsewhere, ZERO is missing out on the opportunity for positive advertising. After all, the early adapters should be supported. Advertising doesn't get any cheaper than that. When I think about how stupidly KTM behaved with "Long Way Round". BMW could do better. They must have a few positive nuts sitting there.

I wrote, edited & eventually deleted my comments and will just say my thoughts, 2 things actually, Zero isn't a brand I'll spend my money with, it's not because I'm a Marcus fan, it's because I get the impression I'll end up being just another Marcus. 2nd point is Pakistan, the country gives the impression it's another zero, funny how words collide.

Merhaba, As a tourist, you do not need a car in Pakistan. Get on a police escort and let it take you around the country. No gas, no electricity, everything is free. I wonder if they will take photos when leaving Pakistan. :)

Look at it as having your own personal bodyguards! It must be expensive for the Pakistan Government to provide for y'alls security. US State Dept has issued the following warning, "Do not travel to any part of Afghanistan due to armed conflict, civil unrest, crime, terrorism, and kidnapping. "Politicians need human misery. ... Government’s a disease masquerading as its own cure." - L. Neil Smith

Dear Marc, I think your story is ideal for a video game. Think about it. maybe you could sail it for example companies such as Electronic Arts for a new game that all of your challenges included in this game. Maybe you could make your fortune with a lot of money with it....
