The prof recommends the student repeat the course with another instructor. I had to repeat a few courses and found a new prof made a 100% improvement. I just wonder why some ppl OPT to repeat it with the same prof, several times. Maybe the prof's method of teaching does not correspond to the students method of learning. Indeed profs also ask their students why they don't try it with someone else.

This clip makes me sad when I think of the students who slacked off in one of my college English classes. Clearly I was one of the few students who gave 100 percent effort and subsequently received an A. It broke my heart knowing that my professor gave the students many opportunities to ace the class. Sadly, some of them squandered it.

I thought college students actually geared themselves to pass, but once I got to college myself I realized this was far from the truth in the general education classes anyway, such as English. Clearly their parents are forcing them to attend college and paying their way through it, hence why the students are lazy. I myself want to get a career, so I am in college thanks to my dad paying for me to go, but I am actually passing! I'm down to my last semester in fact because I actually car to pass.

I've seen people like this ... I failed an English course, once. It sucked. I worked my ass off, spent about six hours a night, every night, redrafting and perfecting each of my essays, doing everything I could to do the best possible work, and the professor still gave me 20% and 30% on all of them. Also, I always got 100%s in every other English course I've ever taken, and I didn't put nearly as much effort into any of those, so maybe my professor did just hate me ...

If your time is so valuable why are you on KZbin griping about how unfair your teachers are? By the way,how exactly do your profs threaten your career & future by judging your work? They don't give you a grade, you earn it. Yep,on occasion, you may recieve a grade lower than you deserve but if it happens often you may want to look at yourself. We all took & had to pass unrelated classes. Nobody owes you anything. It's up to you to go out & get it. If you're college material, shut up & do the work

"no effort", "it's your fault" -I beg your pardon? And yes, I can prove that my grade is unjust by entering an inside process of litigation. It's composed of several steps more or less like a real court situation. So far I've proved wrong mathematically (management science models) my right to get significantly better grade (B+ from F) and management accounting - where I've proved that exam was really poorly constructed by getting opinion from Deloitte consultants (Also B+ from F), only to

The prof may very well have odd expectations. You have no control over that but you failed to adjust to those expectations. That's part of learning how to think, how to adapt & you didn't do that. Pretty much any path you take in life you will have to deal with difficult people in one way or another. If you work for/own a company there will be difficult clients you will be expected to deal with & adapt to. See the point I am making here? Learning to deal with those situations is part of college

It feels like the teacher is the king just like that and the student is the slave he just has to do this and that even thu some teachers work hard to teach but most of them they just care abt giving u the fucking material and u do things ur own and if u did a mistake they blame you .. i am not talking abt failing.. talking specifically abt getting a C in a course that u think u r excellent at (and u really are) its just the professor.. want an evidence? Sure, my friend has a phd in physics and my professor also has a phd, i got a very low grades on the exams even thu i solved it right and most of the questions i solve them almost rightly, but still a low grade. I talked to my friend asking him to grade my papers fairly and i did the math, i should get B+/A-, and when u go to the professor’s office he makes u feel as if the mistake is yours not his and that he did a PERFECT job in giving the materials.. yea guess what, no one is perfect, neither u nor i.. shoutout to every good professor who thinks like a student and works like a teacher.

Student: "Okay, I got here on time all classes, have perfect attendance, I did all your work, I never used a phone, and I passed the final. Why do I have an F anyway?" English composition professor: "Because I am high standard jackass and your essays had errors that are really difficult for college students to notice. Also, you passed the final with a D+." It says something when the hardest course for half the majors in a college is the stupid English class you take freshman year.
